I noticed some changes at Skrimp Shack since my last visit. The quality of the fish has declined, and the food is now just average. The dining area could benefit from some improvements, such as a thorough cleaning and attention to detail.

I ran to write this review!! I’ve not gotten service as great at as I had at this Skrimp Shack. First the food , the food was kept warm for us since it took over 40 minutes for us to arrive. The shrimp the catfish and the whiting sandwich were phenomenal.Then the owner who I thought was the manager took my drink cups filled my drinks got me ketchup which you normally have to make yourself offered me cup holders and insisted I take them he held the door open for me and was so pleasant.Sir you’re amazing. Thank you so much.We are from New Jersey we were just visiting family and to receive this type of service is wonderful. Thank you Thank you Thank you. I hope you open more restaurants because your customer service is terrific! Thank you again

Absolutely the best value for your dollar for a fresh meal, hands down winner. The store is clean, the bathrooms are clean, the fish is cooked fresh, both deep fried or broiled. They separate the oils used for frying for maximum flavor and safety in case you have an allergy, and in all the years coming here I have never had a negative experience.There are few places I can say this about nowadays and I speak quietly with my hard earned dollars every time I eat at this location. The crew does a great job, they should be very proud of themselves and I hope both local clients and management appreciate the value of this wonderful little fast food location!I like fish and the Skrimp Shack is a restaurant I can still afford to go to and get a fresh meal nowadays. Thank you, what you provide is appreciated!

They closed the skrimp shack near us so we went out of the way to go here. Delicious fried fish and skrimps! Never have had a bad fish fry here. So light and flaky!

I stopped by for some takeout about 10 minutes before closing. That timing can sometimes lead to poor service or quality, but not here. The staff was friendly and the small family bundle of catfish, shrimp, hushpuppies and fries was of high quality. It was enough to feed a mom and two teenagers and for a great value. I definitely will be returning.

I got a Catfish/ Shrimp Powboy. It was delicious. Just the way I like it. After I finish, they said they have a spicy Powboy sauce as well. I will have to try that next time. If I had one of these near my house, I would eat every couple of weeks.
