I've eaten BBQ all over RVA. In my opinion this is the very best in the area. Brisket, beef and pork ribs are outstanding. That smokey sauce is great too! Sides are on point as well. I've found my BBQ spot!

I went to this restaurant which is a little hidden place off the street with a couple friends. My friends got the pulled pork which was tender, moist, and had good flavor. I got the Mac n cheese which was smoky and very flavorful and the brisket sandwhich was very tender had a good ratio of fat to meat and a simple but delicious rub. Seating is a bit limited for bigger parties but the owner is very attentive and even gave my friend advice on smoking his own meat.

I popped in with a buddy of mine on a roadtrip while passing through Richmond on a rainy Saturday and got some pulled pork and brisket sandwiches. They were out of ribs and hot dogs, but I won't hold it against them. Get the sweet potato side.Strangeways is just next store for a craft drink and there's ample seating.

Loved the food here and great, friendly service too! My bbq bowl was delicious and would totally go again.Kid-friendliness: Kids will love the food here but there is no kids menu. My son ordered the small pork sandwich and that was more than enough for him. My toddler got a side of macaroni and cheese.
