Great easy drinking light beers for everyone! The rooftop was great too!

10/10 recommend the Virginia Peach beer. Was like drinking an alcohol-infused peach ring! Setup is great - has a small stage for performances, big TVs (for sports, movies, etc. - see below) and honestly just a great lively vibe. Plenty of seating - cool merch and even had some artists/vendors setup the night we went! My ONLY complaint - and this is not really their fault - is we went on a night where they were showing a horror movie... and I kid you not, the ENTIRE bar was full of people INTENSELY watching this movie, even the bartenders... so we scrambled upstairs as to not disturb them after we ordered our drinks LOL - had a nice upstairs area with a covered/heated portion that we sat in. There's a bar there too and rooftop tables that I am sure are bustling in the summer. If you finish the Richmond Brewery Trail here, they have some nice beanies to give out too :) other places have more trucker-style hats, so beware!

So, my fiancé and I came in there tonight with our friends. I’m not sure what was going on but the bearded guy running the bar tonight was very rude. He called last call at 35-40 minutes before closing. Our friend mentioned last call isn’t that a little early and the guy said there are other bars, you can go somewhere else. It was very rude. We’ve been fans of Starr Hill for years. He made this experience very sour for us. Hope that someone can do something about this guys behavior though. Other times we’ve been there he’s negative and just rude in general. This is not what the brewing industry is.

Absolutely thrilled with my experience at Starr Hill Brewery! The expansive industrial-style beer hall offers a fantastic atmosphere with both downstairs and upstairs outdoor spaces. As a beer flight enthusiast, I was delighted by the diverse options, including the opportunity to create my own flight. The holiday flight, especially the Snickerdoodle Golden Ale, was a standout! While the layout could be clearer - there's an upstairs bar for orders - the adventure of carrying my flight upstairs added to the fun. The upstairs terrace exudes a cool vibe, making it a memorable experience. Can't wait for my next visit to the area and another delightful stop at Starr Hill Brewery!

I LOVE Star Hill! It's a very cool vibe and has a great rooftop bar with a super pretty view. It's in Scott's Addition and I saw that they had a lot of cool activities that they do! I saw that they have Christmas movie nights..running clubs and drag bingos! I got the Runners Flight and I liked 3/4 beers but it was an IPA that I didn't like so I had a feeling! Such a fun place to hang out with friends and chill with a good view!

Wish I could have left a zero star. I am 22 years old and I have never felt so disrespected. When I leave any amount of tip and I get asked why it wasn't more it truly makes me not ever want to return. I leave a tip and I get asked "what is with you young people and not tipping right" the beer is mediocre at best and the service is the same. I will never be returning. The man with long grey hair needs to find a new industry because the service industry is not where he should be.

Headed out for a celebratory beer after the Richmond Marathon. This place was packed! I was excited to see a variety of sours and flight options on the menu. I ordered Roxanne, Rio, Stupid Sexy Flanders and Virginia Peaches. Honestly, I didn't love any of them. Virginia Peaches was probably my favorite. They do have a nice rooftop area, lots of space downstairs and an additional outside area. Worth grabbing a drink here on a nice day.
I was so happy to gift them some origami. This place is really a gem! Love the atmosphere.

Terrible customer service! The female manager working today was incredibly rude to me and the group of friends I was with. She needs to be retaught a lesson on hospitality and good customer service!

this place was very cool! a huge inside and rooftop overlooking Richmond with good music! The drinks on tap were delicious, but they didn't have ice which I found add! Staff was nice enough, too
