Fun place. Cool atmosphere. Friendly staff. Good food.I had the Sticky Balls - “Tuna, crab and sriracha rice in an inari pocket tempura-fried and topped with tobiko, scallions, wasabi mayo, Eel sauce and sesame seeds.” They were really good and I’d definitely order them again.Full bar and apparently a happening place for night life including karaoke. They also have plenty of vegan options.

Sticky Rice had its ups and downs during my visit. While the smell of rotting fish was quite overpowering for me and left me feeling a bit queasy, the staff were friendly and attentive. They even brought me a fork without me having to ask, which was a thoughtful gesture.Unfortunately, the strong seafood odor made it difficult for me to fully enjoy the dining experience. I understand that this might not be an issue for seafood lovers, but it was a bit overwhelming for someone like me who isn't a fan of such smells.Overall, I'd give Sticky Rice 2 stars for the service and the effort of the staff, but I'd recommend it with caution to those who are sensitive to seafood aromas.

ALOT OF VEGAN OPTIONSwe had the garden balls, veganzilla roll, veggie pot stickers and seaweed salad. It is more of a bar setting but you can also sit at tables to eat.

I am the owner of another bar here in Richmond. I tried to voice my complete about this bar, and I was manhandled and thrown out of there by their security. As if I was some sort of piece of trash. I do not recommend this bar I will be posting a negative review every day until I pass.

horrible. food was overpriced, the korean ribs that they had barely any meat and they were burnt along with being extremely oily. the sushi was also pretty mediocre. not really a good place to go if you aren’t white also, as you’ll probably feel uncomfortable at some point. the place also had too much going on in general. very loud atmosphere and to me it just seemed like there was a lot of aggressive energy in there as far as the bouncer. would not go again, and i suggest you don’t either.

Absolutely love sticky rice! I make sure to try to come at least once a month and even more if we have guests in town. The bucket of tots are always a hit with everyone we’ve brought. I love that they also give a vegan dip for the vegans in your group.Great place to come for some sake bombs and a party! Make sure to check it out on Fridays when it’s just a blast at night. For the rolls, I am a huge fan of the veganzilla- best vegan sushi roll in RVA by a long shot! I also love that they have a bunch of other options that are vegan that I can pair with my veganzilla. For vegan 72, I got to try their udon noodle soup special and it was heavenly! I really hope it can be a long term menu option ??For the service - I have never been disappointed. Friendly, accommodating staff and they check on you pretty regularly even on crazy busy nights. For vegan 72, I was about to order the udon noodle soup and I loved that the individual who picked up the phone was like “hey up to you but the tempura on it might get really soggy if you take it to go”. I heeded the warning and brought my husband into the restaurant instead. Didn’t regret it at allDietary restrictions: Vegan friendly lots of option

Offered a wide variety of tasty sushi rolls. Specialty rolls, while delicious, were more cooked fish. Good selection of starters, soups, salads, and bowls of not feeling sushi. Sake was delicious. Loved the relaxed atmosphere. Definitely plan to return more frequently.

We went here for an early dinner. My husband is not a big sushi person, but he loved everything. The Godzilla roll and vegetable tempura were great. My husband really loved the Popeye roll, which has mushrooms and spinach. Our server was super knowledgeable and helpful with answering our questions.
