If you want the most delicious taco or burrito you've ever had, go to TBT El Gallo. I've tried a lot of taco places around Richmond and none of them have come anywhere close to the complex unique flavors that TBT has.

Let me start with the hot salsa. Most places just cram spice into something to make it hot and this is very much not the case. The flavor was wonderful. Perfect spice balance. The salsa verde is also so good I could just write a review on the salsas alone. After my chips I moved on to what I can only describe as stuffing my face with these delicious tacos. Yea maybe it is a little steeply priced. But it is definitely worth coming back to.

Top tier local Taco Shop. Met the owner, Carlos, a he is so friendly and welcoming I had the company lunch catered from here the same week.He used to work in fine dining in DC. TBT stands for totally badass tacos, and they are.Small shop with a walk up counter, perfect for take away or they have some nice small tables just outside

Great service! Chef hood and chef, AJ, thank you! Did an Uber eats order and was unable to place correctly on the app. Was called to have the order verified and they were very friendly and attentive to our specifications for gluten-free and vegan.
The cook needs a mandatory break to eat. Just shut down the store during that time. It is not sanitary for the "them" to eat while cooking for customers. ??

Not sure why all the rave reviews. They aren’t cheap for a taco stand and the fillings were minimal. Only place I’ve ever been that didn’t crisp the quesabirria tacos and provided only one tortilla. See pic of “specialty” taco that’s supposed to have pineapple in it. Looks sad to me.
