Came to the restaurant for Cinco de Mayo hoping to have a great experience. The best part was our hostess but the food was not good at all. Ordered the Texana Fajita which the presentation was amazing but the food was not seasoned at all and lacked flavor. Was very disappointed and when asked for the manager he would not come out to our table. Over priced as well. This is a place you would come to for drinks but food is not their specialty.

Used to love this place, but incredibly disappointed after we went tonight. They were too focused on setting up an event that no one was there for that we waited forever to be served. Never got any of the apps we ordered, and waited an hour for our food. Then were charged an automatic 20% service charge when we only had 4 people at our table, plus an additional 3% just for using a credit card! Awful to pay so much for bad service. Sad but will not be coming back

I loved taking my partner here. Our waitress Sophia was so kind and attentive to us. The owner, Carlos, was very friendly and charismatic. The food was delicious and we really enjoyed our drinks.

Recently found out that this spot has pool tables, so decided to grab a drink and check it out. Walking in, we were pleasantly surprised by the interior decor - it’s fun and vibrant, with large TVs at the bar and a spacious game area! Had a few drinks while playing pool, and the bartender was so friendly and accommodating!Noticed that they also have an outdoor bar / patio which looked appealing for happy hour on a sunny day. Will definitely be back!

This is the Chuck E. Cheese of Mexican restaurants. Looks like they tried to build it in a Spirit Halloween store overnight. Food is terrible. There’s dozens of great Mexican restaurants close by. Don’t go here.Edit Response: it took me less than two seconds because the building literally was a Spirit Halloween and it shows. Instead of focusing on writing witty comebacks, focus on cooking edible food. The fact that I wasted time on this review is a testament to how bad the food actually is. I’ve never left a negative review before. The people who pay the money you’re gonna need to keep this place running read this stuff and your responses don’t make you look competent or professional. You’re gonna need a new job soon because this place won’t be in business very long. That’s the truth and we all know it.

Service is terrible! We went three different times. Each time we were there for over 2 hours. The first time we went, they just opened so they got a free pass. The other two times, it was pretty empty. Our margaritas didn't arrive until after the food, which took almost an hour. The table guacamole arrived with the food. When I asked politely after waiting over 20 minutes for my margarita the server literally rolled his eyes at me. Once the food arrived, they never checked back until I had to flag them down for the check. Point being- Mexican should be quick, in and out. For the the very high prices they charge compared to other Mexican restaurants in the area, you better give a good experience. Which they failed to do three times. I will not be returningEdited in response to comment: I saw the comment the owner left and I want to make this is very clear as it was very insulting. I wrote this review based on own my experiences. This was not at the direction of a family member. I don’t even have family that lives in the area. However I am not surprised by the comment as this is the similar attitude that I received while at the restaurant from multiple staff members. I waited tables for almost 7 years while in school and I am very patient and understanding when I dine. The issue was not that the service was slow or the servers were busy. It was that they didn’t care, had attitude and spent more time leaning on the bar talking with other staff members than waiting on the customers. Don’t take my word for it, look at the owners responses to the reviews. No accountability and blames it on the customers making the reviews. That speaks volumes.

Our family went there on Tuesday evening, anticipating a wonderful Mexican meal. I had to ask 3 times for chips and salsa and when it came out the salsa was right out of a bottle and the chips were stale. I ordered guacamole with my meal and 10 minutes later the server came out and said they didn't have any...amazing! When my enchiladas came out it was covered with smoked chili sauce and it was horrible. My granddaughter got pizza bites and when they came out they were pizza rolls out of a bag for $13. The margaritas were only a bottled mix nothing special.Don't waste your time and money like we did, such a disappointment!!!!

Terrible experience, dirty tables, no alcohol in the margs, took an hour and a half to get our food even though they were empty (on a beautiful friday night), and one of us got food poisoning.

I was waiting for more than 20 minutes and they didn't serve us, nor did they offer us nachos. I don't recommend this restaurant. They sat us down and that's where we waited a long time for them to serve us.

Horrible dining experience. Had to beg a waiter - not ours- to bring us more drinks. Food was mediocre and service was atrocious. When I spoke to them about the experience, they didn’t offer to take money off of my bill. They offered to comp a dessert to take home. What a slap in the face.Don’t waste your time or money. HUGE disappointment. If you want to spend a lot of money for a substandard experience, Tequila Sunrise is the place to go.
