My boyfriend picked up lunch for us at this location. He got the snow crab leg boil with corn, potatoes and sausage, I got the Sha Bang Bang Shrimp(comes with rice) & an order of their Cajun fries. Both orders were PHENOMENAL, and according to my boyfriend the staff was very helpful and friendly. We definitely will be coming back here. My food is pictured, shrimps were giant and extremely flavorful. The rice was high quality and you could tell they rinsed it and seasoned it with care. The fries were SO tasty and crispy. Cannot say enough about how good this food was.

Food was EXTREMELY OVER PRICEDThe seasonings were awful ?I brought my man out to celebrate and felt so bad that I chose this place. They have no discounts (not military or senior etc...)for these foolish prices. We had to go get food after we left because after a 215$ tab we still barley ate anything. They need shut down immediately. I've worked in food service for 13 years and have never eaten ao bad for so much. Very disappointed.

The seafood is amazing! Great quality and great seasoning. The spice level "medium" was pretty hot to me & I love spice so I'd say the name is a bit misleading. We did not enjoy the fried scallops.. something about the breading was off. Too thin maybe? But we got the boil with crab legs, shrimp, eggs, potatoes, and corn. I didn't like that everything was priced individually, but it was worth it. Not a place I would go to regularly though, more like when I have money to blow.

went here for valentine’s day with my partner and the staff was absolutely amazing!! the manager and our server were so detail oriented and helpful in explaining the menu and how to order your boil. genuinely one of the best restaurant experiences i’ve had in such a long time and that says a lot coming from a server myself!!! definitely get the she-bang sauce and my partner loved the fried catfish.

My family and I are from Southern California and couldn't believe that there is a Boiling Crab here in Richmond. All I can say is that this place is awesome. The staff there made sure that our food was correct and that we were satisfied with the all the seasonings. My family ordered the King Crab Legs, Shrimp, Clams and the Chicken Tender Basket. ALL the food was PERFECT and if we could, we would have ordered more, but we were stuffed! This place is so much better than the ones my family and I have been to in California and we will definitely be back again. As for all the negative comments on here, all I can say is, please do NOT listen to them. The food is awesome with all the seasonings. Its Cajun for a reason, so expect it to be spicy, but you can order your sauce to the spiciness you want. If there is something that you don't like or have a complaint, the staff will do EVERYTHING they can to make sure you are satisfied. We will be back again and again and again....

This place is awesome. My family and I are from Southern California which is well known for the Boiling Crab, so moving to Virginia we were happy to find out that there is one here.The customer service is outstanding and friendly. The atmosphere was nice and enjoyable. The staff ensured we were well taken care of.We had the King Crab legs, shrimp, clams, all in the sha bang sauce. As a appetizer we had the breaded scallops w/ fries. Everything was OUTSTANDING!!! All out food came out hot and at the same time. Except our appetizer as that came out beforeThe prices for all the food is very fair considering the market prices for items. We tried to make the same items at home once and it cost us more than out we also had clean up.I highly recommend this place if you are a lover of seafood. We will definitely be back!!!Oh, ignore the negative comments, these people don't know great seafood....

There are PLENTY of seafood spots popping up around Richmond and I must say I enjoy checking them out to see what the differences are. My partner and I dined in for the first time last night and had a great experience overall. They open at 5pm so we basically had the restaurant to ourselves for part of our experience. Our waitress was very pleasant and polite. She recommended numerous items and gave honest opinions on what to try out. Then, we met Tyler who was a delight to experience! He was very knowledgeable and helpful. When he didn’t know he found out. For our meal we got the gumbo, mussels and a small boil bag. We also had the lemon pepper wings, and Cajun fries on the side. As a drink, I got the Pona Cocktail with tequila and it was delicious!! My only non positive thing would be that the garlic was GARLICING lol it’s very potent but flavorful if that’s your thing. I would definitely recommend trying this place and grabbing your favorite seafood here.

The single cluster of crab legs (that costs $32.00) was so over cooked that it was nearly impossible to get out of the shell. Shrimp and corn were overcooked and chewy. Even the unsweetened tea tasted old.
Gumbo was amazing! Very tasty.Cara customer service skills were top shelf. Created good conversation and made the environment very friendly.Sha Bang Shrimp and crabber fries are my go to. And they never disappoint. 5 Stars across the board

Hard to gauge price point not sold by exact measurements3. Seafood extremely over cooked, corn So fresh it's crunchy, should be soaked prior to cooking!4. Did not reheat well...First impressions mean a lot, afraid to try again.

We had walked by many times around the neighborhood and last night decided to dine in.We ate like kings and were treated as such. Loved the food, the service and the experience. Highly recommended.
