We’ve been pit and the peel fans ever since they first opened in rva! We were so disappointed the short pump location closed but were thrilled to hear of opening in Westhampton. This new location couldn’t be in a more convenient spot and is surrounded by other great restaurants and establishments including Conejo, hair salons, Libbie market and much more. We always opt for the beach bowl which is undoubtedly the best acai we’ve had. We’ve also gotten breakfast bagels and burritos which have also been good. The new atmosphere is clean, spacious and inviting and there are some tables for outdoor seating too. Love that this new location opened up close to where I live so that I can go there for my acai fix!

5 stars for the kind employees but they missed the mark on everything else here.I frequented the original pit and peel location when I was in college and it used to be great but every time we’ve tried this location it’s either been closed without warning at normal hours or the food has been completely inedible- the prices are also egregious. Super bummer because it’s a great location
Love them! I came for the official grand opening on 9/18 they were busy. I ordered 4 acai bowls and the underworld smoothie. Loved it! Went back a second time and got the buffalo chicken wrap and the kale me crazy smoothie! And again 10/10

I ordered a house bowl to go and either the base was made incorrectly or I was given the wrong bowl even though I was the only one in there. The base was extremely icy, sour, and bitter. I usually never have issues here and it is always my favorite smoothie bowl. But the past few times before this I was also the only one in there are had to wait 20+ minutes for my bowl.
