Visiting for a few days from NYC and came here for happy hour which is 4-7. My experience was perfect from start to finish. My server was so friendly and the decor inside was very fun and inviting. I ordered the tipsy gumbo and fried shrimp. While I was waiting I heard some ladies at the bar giving rave reviews of their food to the chef, which got me excited. Sure enough, the food was nothing short of spectacular. The gumbo was packed with spices and amazing flavor. The fried shrimp was next level—so crunchy yet so meaty and juicy on the inside. The sauce was a heavenly blend of sweet and a tinge of spicy. It was so good I had to get a second order. Chef said they’re working on producing the sauce for sale and I will definitely be buying it when it comes out.

I ate at tipsy crab last week and i have been craving it ever since !!!! Started with the crab fries , they were amazing ! Followed up with the shrimp tacos crushed them !!finished with a double woodford ! I will be back this week ???
Im quite disappointed in my order. I ordered broccolini and I recieved about two spoon fulls of mush, no season or flavor. My catfish tacos were dry and the tipsy fries were not prepared as normal. So sad my order was not enjoyable and upset I spent $5 on mush broccoli from the freezer.

drove to Richmond from out of town and decided to give this restaurant a try after seeing the reviews and photos from the website. Tried to place an order in online an hour prior to arriving and had no luck continue to encounter a broken link, so decided to call instead and the employee let me know they do not take orders over the phone and try the app. I replied and told her the app not allowing me to do so and her reply was " did I try to refresh the app". well I did multiple times and same response only suggestion was to order through DoorDash.So heads up, you can't call and place an order or use their website which is insane only can place orders through DoorDash, Grubhub if you not dining in.The food was hit/miss - order the catfish/shrimp entree and the fish and batter were both bland and unseasoned, ordered a shrimp po boy and the shrimp were delicious but the hoagie bread kept falling apart. only good thing was the crab fries and sauce.Overall, was not the best experience

Absolutely incredible! They always go above and beyond, and the food is extraordinary. If I lived a bit closer I’d order their food every day. Great menu, the staff is incredibly accommodating and helpful. They are very dedicated to providing great food and a great experience. Probably top 5 of my restaurants in Richmond. Give them a try or 2, you won’t regret it!

The food was amazing I called and asked a few question before ordering online. I'm new to Richmond and the man on the phone was so helpful in telling me about items on the menu and the cooking process. We settled upon ordering the shrimp po boy the tipsy fries and an order of the tipsy Mac n cheese. The Mac n cheese was amazing. The portions were great and definitely worth the price. We will now be coming to eat there as well. They definitely got our business now for our seafood craves
