The burgers are my favorite. I've been coming here since I was a child and still love it. They are cash only, so keep that in mind before you visit. They aren't the fastest but it is totally worth the wait.

Just had the most wonderful lunch! The food/coffee was amazing, the service was amazing and so were the prices! I highly recommend the sirloin with onions and gravy. Packed with flavor and they did not skimp on the portions! I hope this place stays open for a very long time because I definitely will be back!

Had a medical appointment this past Tuesday and was starving after a 16 hour fast, so we were looking for a local place to eat. A quick Google search led us to the “mom and pop” diner called Bob and Cheryl’s.Admittedly the curb appeal is lacking and there wasn’t a sign with the establishments name, but we pride ourselves on supporting local businesses. The lady taking orders was super pleasant. After we mentioned this was our first visit, she gave is the back story. Bob and Cheryl’s has been in existence for 47 years. The demographics of the neighborhood have changed dramatically, so what was a flourishing business in the past appears to be struggling to survive. The interior of the restaurant was clean, but the years have taken its toll.My wife ordered pancakes with a side of bacon. I ordered a sausage and cheese omelette with hash browns. Since there was only one other couple eating at the same time, we expected food to arrive quickly and it did. My wife’s pancakes were quite good. My omelette was tasty, but I am not a fan of the super thin egg layer with the loose ingredients folded up inside. You spend too much time chasing the ingredients around the plate. All in all, we enjoyed the meal and the conversation and we really hope the restaurant can survive. We might give it another try after another future medical appointment…

This is an amazing little diner! My work sent me to Salem three times now and I’ve stopped here every time. The food is very well made and the prices are quite low. I will come here every time I can.

Best breakfast and lunch in town. Can't beat the affordable prices and great food. Love getting the bacon and egg sandwich, delicious breakfast platters, and the cheeseburger. The eggs are always cooked to perfection.
