I was the 2nd customer in the door. Ordered an almond croissant and a chai tea. They were out of chai tea so I ordered a blueberry white tea instead. After paying my bill (and tipping), I was told my tea would be right up. After waiting 5 minutes while they waited on other customers, I asked where my tea was. The response I was given was "I think she's looking for the tea bags". Not sure who "she" was as I only saw 2 women working in the front. I asked what tea was readily available, then she pulled the blueberry tea from the shelf and made my tea within 30 seconds. I was basically forgotten about. Happy with the food but not the service.

This place was excellent! The eggs with chorizo were well cooked, and wel balanced in terms of heat and creamy. The baked goods are excellent. Really a notch above.

First, let me say that the pastries are excellent and everyone is incredibly friendly. We had both of the mini quiches (loved) and a London fog croissant that looked not great but tasted amazing. We had some sort of free form breakfast strata which was ok. The coffee was awful. I’m not exaggerating. Watery, no flavor, not quite right. We had both a drip coffee and a cortado, and neither resembled anything like they should have. Basically, come here for the pastries and baked goods, skip everything else.

The lattes are a bit too sweet in my opinion. The pastries are delicious! The chicken biscuits never quite heat up right in the toaster oven.

Great little spot for coffee and a pastry. I actually can't speak much on the pastry as I'm one of those people that doesn't eat bread. My daughter loves the chocolate croissants. I'm here because wowza their coffee provides the heaviest dose of caffeine in the entire county. When I need to peel myself off the floor and really get things done I come in for the dose of 100 octane racing fuel. It's excellent.

I am a pastry snob, and you will not find more delicious pastries and breads, or friendlier people anywhere. There is a reason they supply all the best restaurants in the area. So so delicious, and expertly crafted from scratch. Do yourself a favor and have their incredible croissants, and any of the pastries of the day.

If you're looking for absolutely incredible baked goods and a lovely place to eat them, then this is the place you're looking for. The atmosphere is great - somehow both relaxed/cozy and upscale. The service is friendly and extremely knowledgeable. Totally recommend.

The food was good but I was a bit shocked when my total came out to $62 for 2 croissants and 3 biscuit and gravy orders. And then on top of that the screen prompted me to give a 20% or 25% tip. Despite the prices, this place is popular so be sure toGet there early if there’s a pastry or item you really want to try. They sell out quick.

I am writing this in excitement. I just tried their butter croissant, tomato basil mozarella bagguette sandwich, and a sweet surprise of delicious pastry(I am sorry I don't know its name) from the house as well. They are all SOOO GOOD. The staffs are welcoming and sweet as well.Glad I found this authentic french style pastry shop in the area - for me near Blacksburg. I would definitely go back many times to try more.?
