The food was good. The Cajun burger I had was very tasty. Considering that they weren't very busy, I was surprised that my takeout order was not ready when we got there. Overall I would recommend fork in the alley

Visited with a friend after a long time absence. Mid day, 12:45-1:00. Only a single waitress for all areas + Meeter/Greeter/Seater. Only 2 tables + 1 bar stool occupied, but EVERY table, inside & all Bar spots were DIRTY. After our loooong wait & DIRTY tables, we reconsidered our options…but gave it a try - shudda left. Service was…spotty at best. Our Hot Dog order was…mediocre at best. Dirty tables made for poor atmosphere. Better places to have lunch outing in Roanoke…Very disappointing…Very.

Funky, fun, active vibe. Can get a bit rowdy near the bar. Usually lots of 20, 30 something people who want good food, adult beverages and good music too. The young wait staff is professional and prompt with a whiff of attitude.

Staff not customer friendly....I was a single customer eating alone and felt very uncomfortable ? a rather large girl behind the bar seemed like she would rather be some where else...food not tasty

We stopped here while traveling through Roanoke based on other reviews. We knew there might be a wait as we arrived at 530 on a Friday. We were told there would be a 30 minute wait so we headed outside to let our energetic toddler get some exercise before we were seated. After waiting 40 minutes, we checked with the hostess who then said it would be another 20 minutes. During this time, several couples came and went and there were multiple empty tables made available. Perhaps it was the energetic toddler or the small, sleeping infant that were with us, but that 20 minutes extension sent these two tired parents packing. I won’t plan to be back even though we pass through Roanoke 3-4x/year.Kid-friendliness: There did seem to be a few kids there with no issues.
