First time dining here. Prices are very reasonable and wonderful service. The shrimp cocktail was very nice, with 6 large shrimp served in a fishbowl type glass with lemon wedge and parsley. My only complaint is that the cocktail sauce was a bit bland. I don't like really spicy food, but it needed a bit more horseradish and zip to it.We also ordered the bacon wrapped scallops. They were very tasty, good smoky bacon. But with scallops, just a couple seconds too long cooking makes them rubbery. These were done just a little too long. But very edible. My dining partner had the clam chowder which was thick and quite tasty, loaded with clams. He also had the ribeye with shrimp. The steak was done to his favorite rare and the broiled shrimp were good.I had the broiled grouper. It was seasoned very well and tasty. I would have preferred it cooked just a little more than opaque with a little crisper crust, but it was ok. Baked potato was large and tasty. The hush puppies were good, not greasy. Our salads were fresh and had nice fresh veggies in them. The nautical decor inside is fun. We will definitely go back again for our seafood fix.

I have eaten a lot of crab cakes but I have never seen anything that looked like the ones they serve with little or no crabmeat. The broiled grouper was under cooked so we sent it back. It came back firmer but had no taste. The hush puppies were probably bought frozen and the salad came from a bag of mixed greens and vegetables. Even the sweet potato didn't taste right and the cold slaw had a strange after taste. The total bill was $44 and we ended up going somewhere else to eat.

Although we had to wait 45 minutes to eat, it wasn't Jarbor Inns fault, it was because we had 16 people and wanted to sit together. Food was excellent and huge portions. Service was pretty phenomenal even with the big party.

Me and a dear friend went to Harbor Inn. As my friend was eating the salad she pulling a blonde hair out of her mouth. The waitress has blonde hair so I wonder whose it was? Both me and the guest I brought there are afician American. Then we became the enemy. The Manager brought use new salad, we really should have left at that pointSome of my guest's was not warm, they exchanged there. They brought the receipt and didn't take anything off to help us to remember the hair that my guest had in her mouth. SMH.this was thr first time since I have going there that this had happen. The other time I would give them a 4 star review. They did not handle this situation at all. They finally gave a 25 percent discount. I did not leave a tip, most definitely leave 20 percent. No way was I leaving that today. Will not be going back for a long long long time.

We started with clam chowder and a crab cake. Crab cake was fried to a crisp and I would guess there was no crab in it. Soup was a little bland I had to add a bunch of salt and pepper to it, however it did have a lot of clams in it.For our main dinner we got steak and scallops with a baked potato and fries… fries were cold and crisp did not eat more than one. Baked potato was cold however the best thing on the plate. I didn’t even try the steak and brought it home for the dogs.We also got the build your combo.. flounder, cat fish and shrimp. With a sweet potato and corn on the cob. The corn on the cob never came, the sweet potato was cold, and the flounder and cat fish was cold and bland..Portions were good sized but between cold greasy food and bland taste.. I would not return or recommend.

Great food, very attentive waiter. Get there early on weekend nights.. gets packed fast! Only thing don't like is waiting in line to pay. It would be nice to pay waiter but that might slow down service. Line moved quickly though so that's good.
