Due to covid and increasing inflation, Ikes has been closed for awhile... it makes me so sad everytime I drive by and don't see the open sign on... I truly hope they aren't closed for good...because if and when they open back up you can BET I'll be there often . There is another ramen place on the other side of town... but it's not nearly as good ,plus the employees and atmosphere is nearly hard to beat. So ikes if you guys see this, you still have alot of customers waiting for your return!

Ike's is probably my favorite Asian restaurant in Roanoke and highly recommend it, just make sure to check the hours before you go because, sadly, they are only open a few days a week. I've had about half the menu by now and everything has been delicious! The food is interesting and the seasonings are delicate and everything blends together so well! The restaurant is small and the seating pretty tight and uncomfortable (and I'm a fairly young, thin person) but it's worth the lack of atmosphere to eat this fantastic food! I was going to take one star off because of the dining experience but the food is so good I couldn't bring myself to do it. Seriously, eat here, you won't regret it!

Today was my first visit to Ike's, and I hadn't heard anything about it, but the experience was amazing. My girlfriend and I had the kindest server I think I've ever met, and the food was *so* good. Normally when I go some place new, I worry about getting something I won't like, so I stick to whatever chicken nugget variation is offered. But after looking over the menu, I got the butadon and it was just. Delicious. And there were other dishes I wanted to try to (read as: the whole menu). The entire experience at Ike's was just. Really, really nice, and I can't wait to go back to try other things.

ikes is an absolute favorite of mine, and i go there whenever i have the chance. the person working (Liz) was very friendly and sweet. every food i decide to order from there is always so good. i could praise this place all day, and i highly recommend anyone whos curious to try it.

The ramen here is wonderful. Brings you back to life if you are feeling a bit rundown. We've also had some of the other entrees which were good, but the ramen is what you want to order IMO.

This may be the best Japanese food I have ever had! The ramen broth was flavorful and a little added chili paste made it incredible. The sweetness of the corn was a nice touch.

Another delicious meal at Ike's. I went all in with the tantanmen ramen with extra egg, noodles, corn and chashu pork. Also got an order of kaarge and their limited time onigiri for starters - both were excellent. And because I love Ike's food so much, I got an extra kaarge to go and curry rice with a katsu cutlet. Love the food, the atmosphere and the staff at Ike's and that's why I keep going back.

We had the gf hibachi steak and tonkatau ramen with extra pork belly. Small spot, lots of personality, solid soup, tender beef chunks well seasoned. We'd def go back. Wish they'd go easy on the noodles and heavy on the soup but that's just me. Like the spicy red stuff tho it's not quite wasabi but NO MATTER. It hit the spot, enjoy!!
