Do not ever get their crepes, and definitely NEVER get it to go! Crepes themselves were ok I guess, but for the fruit coming on the side in a cup with Whipped cream... it was 90 percent regular Whipped cream that had dissolved by the time it got home and 4 freaking blueberries..... FOUR! Come the hell on. Their other dishes are fantastic but this was pathetic for 9.50! Please improve on that specific dish or take it off the menu.

Too little food for too much money. I got a single crepe with maybe a strawberry and a half inside and some Nutella. That costs about $1.25 to make, they charged me $11.50. Kinda ridiculous. Plus they cooked the strawberries inside the crepe so they are mushy and warm, not fresh, which is an odd choice. Service was great, and it tasted pretty good, just ridiculously expensive.

Ordered the Bacon Strata platter which can best be described as Sundays Bacon Strata platter. Unfortunately it's Tuesday. Tasteless, dry, and the bottom third was so hard I could barely cut it. Apparently they are trying to get rid of it because the portion size was gigantic. The Duck Confit Benedict was good tho except the croissant was hard. Hashbrowns and eggs were good but hard to imagine any breakfast place couldnt master that. Also you order at the counter and clean your own table while paying 45$ for breakfast for 2 without alcohol.

I'm shocked by the high rating this bakery has. I tried their Ceasar salad and got a German chocolate cake for a family birthday. They were both horrible. I won't return to try anything else and don't recommend this place.

We are from out of town...about 3 hrs away. We came to Roanoke for the Dikens of a Christmas Tree Lighting ceremony. When we arrived in town, we wanted to get a bite to eat before our dinner reservation (5 hrs & we hadn't eaten all day). So stopped in at Our Daily Bread. The hardest thing was deciding what to get. We already had plans to eat brunch here on our way out of town the next day. For lunch we had salmon bouillabaisse (YUM!) And turkey gouda melt...oh & if u haven't tried their French hot chocolate ?. The following day for brunch we had nutella & fruit crepes, sweet cream cheese crepes w/fruit compote, whole grain toast w/Scrambled eggs, shashashuma (?) And more French hot chocolate. I don't think you can go wrong w/anything they serve. We brought some goodies home as well...napoleon, Belize, lemon bar & opera. We tried them all - delish BUT my fave was the opera.

I ordered the French style garden omelette that was so overcooked that I had to cut it with a knife. Also only had green bell peppers in it as opposed to mixed vegetables. Really disappointed with my breakfast. The staff was super nice though.
