I am picky about spaghetti with meat sauce (probably because I make it home alot) but was craving it. It was delicious, flavorful with decent amount af meat. Loved it.

First visit to Reminis. Trinity, our server, was prompt, courteous and attentive. Food came out quickly and was very good, with nice sized portion. I will eat there again in the near future,Parking: Restaurant is located in a busy section of Carolina Beach so at peak times in season, parking may be an issue.

Food was bland. Flatbread was soggy with mushy hot tomatoes. Not a fan at all.

Lasagna is the dish to get! Most other dishes I have tried or friends have tried have been ok. We go back mainly for the lasagna with meat sauce, which they only have sporadically, and you have to ask for it (I recommend asking for the meat sauce). Other dishes seem to be low on the seasonings, but that may be a plus for some. The service each time I go is just ok. Not award winning, but also not horrible. The atmosphere is the same, just ok. It's normal. Nothing that will wow you but also nothing that will make you say you don't want to come back. Overall a good pick, especially for family style portions, large parties, and Italian food in Roanoke, VA.

Had lunch at Remini's today I had the meatball sub which was delicious and the bread was perfect. My friend had the ravioli from the $9 lunch menu which is a steal. I appreciated the prompt and attentive service so much. Overall a great experience. I'll be back!

Pasta and sauce were cold, not even room temperature. Sauce tasted like nothing more than crushed tomatoes straight from a can. Waitress was superb, though.

Friendly staff. Open seating and you can see the chef cooking your food. There's a bar on the back side. It looks upscale when you walk in but the casual staff clothing didn't match the atmosphere. It's definitely casual. We ordered the Brooklyn sandwich and the baked ziti. We both liked the sandwich. The pasta was only so-so for me. It came out al dente which is ok, but it was lukewarm and very runny. It definitely didn't taste baked. The Parmesan was super thick on top and I didn't count even one meatball in the entire massive dish. One dish is enough for two people. I give the sandwich a 4.5/5 and the pasta a 2.5/5. The sandwich could have been a 5 if the sausage was cut slightly thicker or bigger. Ample parking and easy to find in a strip mall. Overall I give the place a solid 4/5. I want to try the sausage and peppers the next time. Meals are not automatically served with salad. They're extra. They do give some focaccia and oil/herbs before the entree. Final thought: I don't consider this to be authentic Italian being my sister is law is from Calabria and I have had it in Italy and in Italian neighborhoods. The food was fresh, I'll give it that. It was good, not great. I think draining the water before plating it would help appreciate the sauce. The lasagna is vegetarian, which was unexpected which is why I went with the baked ziti. Was disappointed because it says it comes with meatballs in the dish. Neither of us had any meatballs. I did get a few scattered pieces of ground beef here and there but it wasn't what we expected for a meat sauce or for meatballs. For decent Italian in Roanoke, this place is good, for authentic Italian, the search continues.
