The burgers & fries here are to die for! Extremely affordable! Homemade & cooked by the most precious & sweet little old lady. The owners are so friendly & remember you every time you come in. We've stopped eating at fast food restaurants because this is cheaper & SO much better! You're missing out on this!!

Really not understanding all the praise this place has gotten.The service was fine, the staff were friendly- no problems there. The food and the environment weren't very good, though.The burger and hotdog were fine in their execution for the most part, but they were INCREDIBLY bland. The fries were of the lowest quality imaginable, were underdone, and didn't have a sprinkle of salt on them. Maybe their boomer clientele appreciate the lack of seasoning, but I really didn't.The decor and environment are OLD. This wouldn't be a problem if they took the time to clean every now and again. You could see decades worth of dust and decay on almost every surface. Apart from being really dingey, it was dark as a cave in there, too. I don't think putting up a couple lightbulbs would kill anybody.It's an interesting little time capsule, for sure, but the food wasn't really good enough for me to ever revisit.Vegetarian options: There are no vege options
Local diner drive in style foods and drinks. You won't get better hot dogs or hamburgers anywhere else in Roanoke.
