I came here by myself and ordered the beef soup for $16, because my friend said the soup is great, and ordered a couple other dishes to eat later. Good broth and vegetables but beef was just a bone with all fat on it. My total bill was $34. I tipped $6 cash but she still added on 20% additional tip until I said something. When I said something she said it was all tax. There's not $9 in tax on a $30 bill. She backed it off when I showed her on the bill. I think 40% tip is a little much for a quick lunch but I'm more than happy to leave 20%. I definitely should have ordered ahead. I was the only person in the restaurant, literally the only person and it took a half hour to get the food. I didn't come early it was 3 minutes till noon. No big deal. I'll probably go here again. If it's better next time I'll give a better review.

The food here was excellent and we had a great experience, but after we paid for our food we realized they added an automatic gratuity of 15% to the check.We were only a group of 2 and I didn’t see anything posted about an automatic gratuity. So we ended up tipping 35% unintentionally. I don’t know why they added the automatic tip, and I’m disappointed because we had such a good experience otherwise. It left a sour taste in my mouth ):

If you are Latino you are going to like the food, it has good taste.
I think they can start with the customer service, the two rockers who have one are terrible (a girl and a man). I suppose that a client has the right to ask for tastes, that's why they pay, and I don't think it's right that they respond with a joke, something else. Please don't make those chickens so ugly and overheated, it's already been 4 times in a row that they give me that like this and today I had to throw it away and the horchatas please add sugar at least and I won't continue because the truth is there is more and I have ordered everything and it's not just me but other people say the same thing.

Food was good for the price. Nice stop in the middle of Virginia. With that said, area is kind of sketchy (go in daytime) and there was hardly anyone there except a drunk couple making a lot of noise.

The restaurant was closed for Thanksgiving so I did not get to enjoy this restaurant. Hopefully I can write a better review the next time I am in Roanoke VA.

Went at noon time with family, one table in that was eating before us, waiters took our drink order twice, ordered cheese dip and it came out 2 minutes before the entrees. Kids quesedilla wasn't heated up, cheese was still separated. Rice on all of our meals were lukewarm at best. Beans tasted stale and had the consistency of mayo. Wife spat out part of her salad. Hottest part of the meal was the kids fries. Waiter brought wrong drink at refill and sighed in my face when I let them know. No taco specials either, you're much better off going to a different spot.
One of the best spots in Roanoke for Salvadorian and central american food. Love the supermarket too!
