So this little place is quite the stop! Feels like you're having Sunday dinner at grandmas!!! The collards were awesome, so sad they were out of sweetwater.

Sweetwater Venue can't be beat. Food and Bakery items are the best we have eaten. The prices are beyond reasonable and the staff is wonderful. The decor is simply amazing. They take great pride in their business! Check them out... You will be happy you did. ❤️

Our family of 10 was traveling back from Tennessee and seen this little restaurant while getting gas. The food was great country cooking and the staff was very welcoming and nice. The price for a Sunday dinner was extremely reasonable for the amount of food. Wonderful little place!

This place has only been open a few months so we thought we'd give it a try. It was really good! I'd definitely eat here again! I had a cheeseburger and mashed potatoes, the potatoes had garlic in them, didn't care much for that, u don't like garlic. But I'd try something different next time.

This is exactly the kind of place I look for in small towns like this. Simple and unassuming, but great service and amazing food! If you're looking for a throwback to an old-school diner, this is it!

First thing I noticed was how clean inside and out was, fresh produce outside available for purchase, inside had smell to that I can't quite place but it's a good smell like walking into your mother's or grandmother's house, bathroom clean clean clean, place is decorated nicely and feels extremely welcoming. I fell like I'm sitting right at home at my table eating supper, but I'm an hr away. Everyone here working is so friendly and eager to strike up a conversation. The food my my my. I had the pork chop, mashed tators, green beans a roll and a vanilla cupcake for dessert,,,, AMAZING if I wasn't so full I would have ordered it again it was that good. I don't think anything I ate today could be perfected anymore. Also the sweet tea is great as well. Definitely will be back, especially when they get to the point of serving breakfast. Yall keep doing what your doing. God Bless

Spent 30 minutes of my life here and that was 30 minutes too much. We were the only two people in the restaurant and was told three times, " well there's only four of us working". Anything you get is served on paper plates and plastic utensils. That is, if you even get it. Because if you don't oooh and ahhh over the statements the man makes about people coming all the way from California just to eat their pulled pork, he'll then try to convince you it's known all up and down the east coast for the best barbecue anywhere. If you choose to not stroke his ego by oohing and ahhhing, he's likely to tell the waitress not to give you your food just as she's bringing it to you. I know it's likely because this is an account of the 30 minutes tthat I wasted in this place. But if you want good food and good service, come back toward Marion about 10 miles to the Atkins Tank. It's just a tiny little place with only three or four working, but they handle all their customers in a timely manner and the food is great at the Atkins tank. Those people don't have to try and convince customers how good they are because they work their butts off and prove their worth. And Atkins Tank uses real dishes and utensils, even for just a blt sandwich. So just bypass the Sweetwater Venue and go on down to the Atkins Tank for good polite service and good food. And don't forget to tip your waitress at the Atkins Tank.
