The food was incredible and the staff was so accommodating! We had a buffet, but they made each of us a plate and brought it right to us after our first dance so it was guaranteed we eat before the night really kicked off. We had someone checking in on us the entire dinner - even when we were making our rounds with our guests. Everything was so seamless, and they packaged up leftovers for us to eat after we got home!

Pumpernickel pickle catered our seated dinner for our wedding at Sierra Vista. The guests could not stop raving about the food and were so into eating their entrees that we actually got to enjoy our meal without interruption! Our guests unanimously agreed that it was the best meal they have ever had at a wedding, especially their scalloped potatoes (which were hands down the best scalloped potatoes I have ever had). The beef tenderloin was perfectly cooked and so tender that it could be cut with a butter knife. If your primary desire for your reception is an amazing meal that you and your guest will never forget, you need to hire them!

PP catered last weeks wedding in Lexington Virginia. The caterer ran out of food with 25 guests still to come to food table .We were told to sit tight and they would make some more food. An hour later they put out cardboard cheese pizza, cold chicken and mac and cheese.Those that wanted to eat had to ask for utensils as they had already cleared our table. Some guests left to get dinner elsewhere. Very poor communication by staff as to plan to rectify situation. Mistakes happen but some honest communication would have helped make a bad situation less embarrassing. We heard the food was good but didn't get that experience as they didn't prepare properly.

They were so helpful and responsive throughout the entire wedding planning process, and made every step feel so special. My family is from Cuba, so they made sure to create something representing my culture in preparing mini Cuban sandwiches (such a hit), and making sure my fiancé felt well loved and represented as well! Everyone raved about the food all night, service was lovely, and they even set out all of the china which made every table look so beautiful. A guest of ours had new dietary restrictions we were unaware of beforehand, and pumpernickel pickle took such care to prepare him his own meal so that he could enjoy the dinner with everyone else.
