Always great food and good service if you go during lunchtime allow extra time because it's extremely busy. So far everything that I've had at this restaurant I have really enjoyed.

Fabulous food, TONS of gluten free options (cooked separately), and great service every time I go. A local favorite for the whole house!!!!

Stopped by on a Sunday morning. It has a bar like atmosphere, but the food is absolutely amazing. Everything was made from scratch and cooked to order. We highly highly recommend the pancakes. They were the best we’ve ever had. Great food and friendly attentive staff.

My daughter and I were looking for place not far from home in New Kent. Fat Boys Bar and Grill had come up a few times in searches but we were never on that side of town and didn’t know if it was worth the drive. Upon first look outside of the building we weren’t expecting much…. Boy are looks deceiving! After being sat at a table and looking over the menu I was hopeful that we were going to be in for a treat. The menu is so good that I had a hard time picking one item to try. We went on a Sunday and were able to see the brunch menu which isn’t even the full menu. Everything from chicken and waffles, biscuits and gravy (homemade not canned) to a motherclucker! I was having such a hard time deciding that I asked the gentleman that brought us menus ( I think he may have been the owner). He advised that they are known for their burgers so now I just had to narrow it down from 8 options instead of the entire menu. When the waitress came to take our order I had decided on the Gouda burger but that quickly changed to the PB&J burger. This was by far the best burger I’ve ever had in my life!!! The patties were seasoned perfectly, with a slight crispy crust on the edges and a juicy center. My daughter order the motherclucker, perfectly crispy with a yummy house sauce. The best thing though…. The FRIES! French fries are typically and afterthought at restaurants, not here. They are by far the most unique fries I’ve ever had. The only way I can describe them is a potato curl… perfectly seasoned, soft in the middle with a crunchy outside. Almost like a potato wedge and an Arby’s fry had a baby. Needless to say, we’ll be back. If you haven’t tried it, you should! It’s worth the drive!

This place is definitely a hidden gem. I got the black bean burger and it was incredibly delicious! It's a sloppy mess and required some fork action before I could actually pick it up because of the size of the patties (you get TWO) but I would definitely order it again. It has chunks of portabella mushroom in the patties and they were like little flavor bombs. I subbed out the muenster for white cheddar and added avocado as well. The fries are delicious too. My dining partner ordered the Fat Boy burger and raved about the flavor. Service was super friendly. We will definitely be back.

It was expensive for what you get, and the food was greasy. Perfect if your aim is to be a poor fat boy.

Wow- we were blown away by how good this place was. Stopped in for some dinner recently, and had one of the best burgers I have had in a long time. Ordered the Fat Boy Original burger-- juicy, good char, home made pickles, house sauce, tasty and soft bun, I am still savoring it as I type! :) They have an extensive beer list, probably upwards of 20 taps with lots of craft and regular options. My wife had some tacos which were also delicious. Next up is definitely the cheesesteak or the roasted pork/provolone/greens sandwich- these people definitely know their Philadelphia cuisine. Very reasonably priced I will add. Fun, friendly and local vibe here, we will definitely be back!
