Three out of four of us liked the food, I was the exception. The pulled pork looked great as did the crabby fries. The ribs were extremely hard to separate and the brisket was more like a fatty roast beef. Also a bit pricey for the quantity served in my opinion. This is a local hole in the wall. The servers were very welcoming and the cook comes out to ask if you liked everything. Really a warm welcome to the place.

Great food and Hurricane! The scallops were the best I've ever had! Staff was super friendly and helpful. Right down the road from the campground I stayed at- I'll definitely go again!!

Our family ate 3 incredible meals here during our vacation. Delicious seafood, great service and friendly staff. They really go out of their way to serve exceptional food.

The server was very nice.but she didn't give us a full list of available sides or gi e us the options on how we would like or flounder. I was not impressed at allAnd the parking lot if that is what they call it was horrible. I had heard they had great steaks I sure wish I had ordered 1. I still can't believe that they fried my flounder.

Great Food, Terrific Service, Fantastic Waterview in a sleepy small town off the beaten path! We will be back for sure!

Fun place to go on our motorcycle ride. Gravel parking lot. Food served in Styrofoam containers. It's ok.

Robbie was a great server. Food freshly cooked and delicious ? I had clam fritters that were the best I ever had, crispy on the outside and soft and tasty on the inside.
Love Saxis and Capt E's, but just so sorry to see it's so in your face up for sale, the for sale sign is as big as Capt E's sign. It's a shame that we may lose another eastern shore gem. The staff, the food, the beers, and the views are great as always. Some of the best Sunsets ever but the prices have gone sky high :( like everywhere, I guess. Used to get out of there with a good meal and good tip under 50 now more like 80 for two people.

Check your expectations at the door. There's no fru fru sauces, the staff either doesn't know (or more likely they don't have) the wine list and complicated drinks (like a martini!) require a 4 person consultation. Service is enthusiastic, cheerful, slow and slightly scatterbrained (charming nonetheless). This is all a prelude - the food, simple honest and GOOD. It's just basic decent seafood - mine was the scallop basket with a much larger portion than you'd usually get, simply battered, lightly fried, just right. Others pleased with pulled pork, a cheesesteak (good), fried shrip. The parm oyster app was fine with quality oysters as was the raw selection. Really, just a solid spot/

Not fancy, but the food was good, the service was great and the view amazing. We had a lot of fun!

I’ll tell you what, I’m not sure it’s possible to find a seafood restaurant closer to the place the food comes from then here. No frills and gorgeous views, I’ll happily make the drive to have crab fries and cheap beer looking at that sunset.
