It's a great family restaurant so please do not visit for ambiance.Food is awesome we had Tomato tortellini which was delicious. Brushette was good. Soup was bland. Also ordered a Sicilian pizza that tastes good. It would have been good advice if we were told it is meant for a full family of 4 heavy diet adults or easily can be a good fit for a 6-8 member group. We were just 2 and could hardly make a dent in it. ?

We arrived on a 4-5-24 around 7 PM. Promptly greated and leads to our seats. My hats off to the owner as the staff appeared to be high school kids learning how to work and develop customer service skills. Service was excellent! In reviewing the menu the food selection was what I consider classic Italian with pizza, pasta and entrees. Being late we ordered pasta Fagaoli, ceaser salad and garlic knots. The salad was crisp and the dressing was on par.The soup had the ingredients that make up fagaoli but was not very flavorful. It had everything but italian seasoning. The garlic knots were not knots but a dough ball about the size of a donut hole. I was not sure if they were baked or fried.

We placed an order for delivery while staying in the area. The host who took my call was polite/knowledgeable. The food arrived hot, the driver was very courteous and we very much enjoyed our NY style pizza and wings- delicious! We didn't dine in so I didn't rate the atmosphere, but I can tell it's the type of place that is welcoming. Mama Mia's for the win!

I will definitely be going here when I am in the area. It is a great local place with friendly staff and good food. The portions are so big we had enough for lunch the following day. We are ethnically diverse, hence my only issue was when we entered the restaurant to sit, we got uncomfortable stares from other patrons. Yeah I get we are not from the area but that also made us feel unwelcome. The food was worth it nevertheless.

My family and I have been eating at this restaurant for nearly 15 years, and I've never had a single complaint. The owner is one of the kindest people in this world. I cannot say enough about how Mama Mias has been a family favorite for us. Their food is amazing, the staff is always friendly, and we will always be a fan ❤️

Ordered a large Stromboli and it came out overcooked and burnt on the bottom. The outside crust was very crunchy and hard to chew. The inside however was very delicious. They handed a little menu with two new appetizers to try and I went to order them and they said they were out which was very annoying so why hand me a menu stating that you have them when you don't have them. The waitress never came by and refilled our drinks nor was she very friendly. The only highlight was the fact if you paid in cash you got a 10% discount. Was a little annoyed that I was not offered an additional discount for the nearly inedible crust on a burnt stromboli. I haven't eaten here in years and now I remember why.

4.5. very good meal....had lunch. two brothers own the restaurant...taken over from parents...I had an "Italian sandwich". sausage and my partner had a soup...... "whole in the wall" and probably very popular in the country town of Shenandoah. Good cannoli for dessert.

This was a great stop for four hungry hikers after a long day on the trails. Our waitress was new, but very friendly and conscientious. The food was good - calzone, chicken caprese sandwich, three cheese ravioli with Alfredo sauce, and chicken & broccoli Alfredo. The portions were generous for the two pasta dishes and the "small" calzone (I can't imagine how big the large is!). The only downside was the cost - it seemed very pricey to us.
