My wife and I ate here everyday during our getaway in the mountains. The food was delicious, the prices were great, the portions were generous, and the staff were friendly. Wish there was a Rudy’s closer to home!

Lunch on 4-6-24@ 2 pmI liked this diner. We were told to sit anywhere. Since we weren't greated by our waitress within a few minutes I grabbed a couple of menues to peruse. I went for the club, A favorite of mine since childhood. The Mrs went for a Reuben. We both took a bag of chips out of a large selection of sides and served with a dill spear. My sandwich was perfect. The Reuben 's meat was flavorful but too much butter on the grill so the bread was mushy. I liked the place! A real hometown diner!!

The staff here are amazing, and the food is the best comfort home-style cooking. You'll feel like part of the family when you visit.

A delightful lunch spot as we passed through town with our bachelorette party group of 8. We were immediately seated and served by friendly and helpful staff. Lots of food options, including a fun unique sandwich, the Haligan (Texas toast sandwich, with mac-n-cheese and BBQ pulled pork on it!) We loved the fire fighter theme decor, including the ladders hanging from the ceiling and diamond plate on the walls. I hope my travels bring me through here again for another great lunch!Kid-friendliness: They have a kids menu (for kids of any age). Pretty open dining room with space to accommodate families. What kid wouldn't like a fire truck themed restaurant?

My visit to Rudy's was a regrettable experience that left a bitter taste in more ways than one. The excruciating 45-minute wait for our food only served to amplify our anticipation, and sadly, the outcome was far from satisfactory. When our plates finally arrived, it was immediately evident that the culinary journey we had hoped for had taken a wrong turn. The food was shockingly cold, as if it had been left to languish in a forgotten corner of the kitchen. The lack of warmth not only affected the temperature but also the overall enjoyment of the meal. To compound matters, the flavors were disappointingly absent. Each bite felt like a futile search for taste, leaving us questioning the culinary skills of the kitchen staff at Rudy's. It's disheartening to invest time and hunger only to be met with a complete lack of culinary finesse. In hindsight, the experience at Rudy's was not just a letdown; it was a culinary misadventure that left us longing for a satisfying meal elsewhere. The combination of an extensive wait and subpar food has firmly etched this unfortunate episode in my memory as a dining experience to forget.
