The food was delicious, and the girl that waited on us was friendly and polite, very attentive to the needs of the table. As far as the older woman that brought us our menus when we sat at the table..geesh weened on a pickle. There was another lady in the restaurant that working and wearing an AC/DC shirt…ummm she was rude and having a scowl on her face, like it was chore to be there. No niceness in that place except for the young waitress. Very unfriendly environment!! Definitely wouldn’t recommend..

Three and only reason why is the fries are delicious and the food came out in decent time. I've been here twice and think my last time. Here's the reasons why... FOX NEWS played on the TV both time. WHY would you want to alienate half your audience? Had a sandwich and the bun disintegrated and meat fatty. Drain the meat first and it'd be fine. It's run down in there. I've been to dives before and can live with this but it's depressing feeling in there? Dark and dingy? The tea tasted like water. I paid for water... BUT the wait staff is ok. Not very friendly etc. but they did do their job, they do give you plenty of food and the prices are reasonable. In addition, when down town old town is crowded (and it was this day) you can get a seat here. If you promise to remove Fox news and be NEUTRAL like a decent place would be with common sense and promise to spruce it up (at least make it lighter and brighter) and don't put the meat on a cheap bun (give better buns and drain it...) I'd go back. Kudos on the fries. The Fox news thing is not negotiable. I gave you two chances now.

Stopped for breakfast on the way back to hotel room. Got 1 waffle with "strawberries", grits, and an orange juice. Paid over $17!!! The waffle was good but nothing special. Came with like a strawberry jam/syrup, not actually strawberries. Since it was to-go the grits were put in a to-go coffee cup and it was only half full. The juice was good but cost $5! While checking out I asked for butter and salt and pepper. Was told it was in the bag. I got 3 tiny servings of butter (for waffle AND grits) and one of each of the little salt and pepper to-go packs that come with the utensils. The food DID taste good, but the price and portions was ridiculous!

Did a stop while in smithfield. Usual family diner/ reasturant. A full menu we opted for seafood. The meal was quit good and I definitely recommend stopping in.
Place was hot and my steak was rare on one end and medium well on the other asked for medium. And it was fatty.

Why do you offer ravioli and spaghetti on line , and your waitress tells me we don't do that???

Went this last Sunday with a group of ladies for breakfast, we meet at the restaurant a 8:30. Waited of 30 minutes before getting asked if we would like an coffee or water. We had tried flagging down wait staff but did not come over to us. At the 45, finally waved a waitress down to take our order, She said she was busy and could not take our order. The only problem with this was she was taking orders of folks who came in after us and were being served. Frankly the waitress was totally rude and her comment was not called for. We got up and left after wasting a hour of our time. Will never give them my business again unless the waitress is FIRED.
