Amazing food for a shockingly reasonable price. Never disappoints and the quality of the meats AND sides is very good. Have been a customer since they opened.

I went here to eat with my Fiancé & his family & I was very disappointed. The portions were very small which were being portioned by a small container they use for sides, they guy put our food on our plate & then pulled some off and the staff seemed overwhelmed and not very friendly. The brisket was ALL fat, and the sides (the bark) were soft, no texture. There was hardly no meat on the brisket, all fat (which is great for my dogs) and the coleslaw was dry and no flavor. The cheesy potatoes were delicious and the Barbecue sandwich was a 3/10 (average) nothing to write home about. Hush puppies were good in flavor but hard as a rock. The broccoli salad was very good and when I asked for lemons for 4 people, they have me two. The atmosphere just seemed depressing & sad .. I hear a lot about this place & when I went there it just wasn't what it's made out to be. Maybe it was just a bad day for them and I will give it a try again. Hopefully better luck next time. I like to give places another chance because we all have our bad days.

Not usually big on "pre-sauced" pulled pork, but it was delicious. The baked beans are great. Mac and cheese was good. Boys loved the banana pudding, and the molasses cookies are incredible! Great service, too! Highly recommend.

Hard to beat their ribs, and my wife typically doesn't like banana pudding, but she likes it from Q Daddy's! This place is excellent for eating in, taking out, and catering.

I ordered the southern fried beef brisket meal. It was amazing. My sides were Mac and cheese, and Cole slaw. I originally wanted baked beans instead of slaw, but the beans contained pork, and I don't eat pork. Oh, it also came with hush puppies that had cheddar and bacon in them and pickles. Couldn't taste them because of the bacon. The bread and butter pickles were tasty. The items that I received were delicious. The brisket was seasoned to PERFECTION. The Mac was CHEESY, and the slaw was definitely "slawing." I gave it 4 stars because they didn't offer too many sides that weren't pork free.

My favorite BBQ place to eat in Hampton Roads! I drive 45 minutes just to eat here. The restaurant setting is just a down home relaxing place to eat. Everyone is nice and friendly. I often go alone and will always strike up a conversation with someone whether an employee or a friendly local. I've never had anything here that I didn't like.
