I just saw the video from Tik Tok about your factory and I was horrified. Horrendous conditions. Unsafe practices and firing an employee that called out a crooked manager for sleeping with an employee! Never again will I purchase anything feom Smithfield again. FOUL! Look up the video. You won't buy from them either!

Y'all need to do better with your chitterlings. As expensive as these 10lbs buckets are to only get not even a pound after cooking when I remember back in the day it would feed a family of 8. Y'all are scammers now and just need to focus on sausage, bacon ect. Let the people clean them and leave it out of y'all's cleaning machines. This is bullshit and never again will I expect the best chitterlings from y'all. Next time I will just spend my money at the meat market. Sad when you spend your hard earned money on a bucket full of water and shredded up parts.

I purchased a 10lb bucket of chitterlings that was supposed to be not cleaned when I got home and begin to clean them I found they were pieces of the ready to cook, after I cleaned them I only got a half of a quart Ziploc bag full mind you I paid twenty nine dollars and didn't" get a mouth full out of the bucket it may have been a half a pound of chitterlings for twenty nine whole dollars. So please take it from me don't waste your money and be disappointed like I am find you another brand.

I'm very, very ,very unhappy with the way the pork chitterlings look and amount you are deceiving us customers with the amount of product you put into the bags and to top it off you add a lots of water to make it appear that you are getting large portion of chitterlings.Queenella pork chitterlings in the bag,you only get a pound of chitterlings the rest is a lot water.YOU ARE PAYING FOR A LOT OF WATER. I will never buy from them again.I hope they shut you down for ripping off the customers

What a joke of a place to work in orientation the instructors asked me to send my banking information to a email address not associated with Smithfield I walked right out some lady named Lisa heel, do not work here place is full of felons and janky union members(north plant) also don’t buy anything from Smithfield this China owned garbage plant, treat the employees like trash and the results they sell garbage quality foods

"Good food. Responsibly" what an absolute joke. There is nothing responsible about the way they treat the animals or their employees. They sold out to a Chinese company-WH Group, in 2013 so it's not even an American company anymore.

Not to be confused with Slickfield, which is a field full of oil. Not baby oil unfortunately. Smithfield was a good company, and I don't mean great but I mean good, for hams and other meats, for some things more than others, but nothing moreso than their hams. They also made good Vienna Sausage - and they still do, which is why I gave them three stars. However since the foreign ownership came in, the standards and customer service have slipped (not that they were the best in the US, but they were passable), and a lot of the ingredients have too. They also don't stand by a lot of the guarantees that made the company great. So while I give them three for now - which used to be four or five - in the near future their rating could go down to 2 or 1 if they don't discover the American business practices that made them great, and blend them with the foreign ownership capital that has allowed them to take over this company. I'm not saying American practices are the best, far from it. But in this case, when they were American owned, they were doing better by their customers.

Their meat is terrible and most cases they over wash their meat. It's not fresh enough when it arrives to the store. The meat that I've gotten has been bad a lot lately. Especially the pork roast. And it's not the sulfur smell that were used to. It's rotten meat the vacuum pack is brokenThe meat is absolutely terrible now that they over wash it

DO NOT ORDER the country ham, it's not edible, it's so salty. (Unless you want a garnish vs. an entree). It's also dry and super expensive.
