Danner was a great waiter he recommended the blackened chicken and it was amazing.Vegetarian options: Salads and veggies but not vegan friendly due to using butter and cheese in a number of options

One of our favorite places to dine in the downtown area. The food is amazing, especially enjoy the veggie burgers and Brussels sprouts made with Smithfield bacon. Great place for lunch and shopping in Smithfield area. The little shop has some great selections for taking home some snacks or as gifts for visitors to the area. Highly recommended.

We had a very nice dinner here. Wanted to bring an out of town guest to try Virginia Ham. Did not disappoint. Service was awesome! Meal was delicious. I was surprised by the great Bourbon selection.Dietary restrictions: They don't have a gluten free menu or items marked on the general menu but our server was very helpful and knowledgeable.

Clean Good local food friendly service in middle of a market street. Street lined with private businesses. Great for afternoon walks

First thing first...The food was good, hot, and fresh! The service was nice and you can tell all the people were being treated well. I had a hamburger and sidewinder fries which were GREAT as a fry lover. There wasn't a ton of parking which I'm sure is a problem in a small town like Smithfield Va. Overall the place was clean small, and a everyone knows everyone kinda place. Had a small bar for mixed drinks and a small store section with a variety of Smithfield favorites like ham, peanuts, jams to name a few. Looks like the sidewinder fries may be the best fries on that side of town! LoLParking: Street parking in the front and very very little parking in the back of the building. Plan accordingly!Wheelchair accessibility: Ramp is in the back of the building for easy smooth entering/exiting

Tried to eat at Taste of Smithfield tonight, but ended up walking out quite frustrated. We enjoy sitting at the bar and the hostess had stated that seats there were first come, first serve. When we went to sit there, we were told the 2 seats were reserved. Who uses reservations for bar seats? Needless to say, we are eating elsewhere tonight.

Four adults and one child on this trip. Wait staff was very attentive and the food was delicious with a good selection of items. I recommend and look forward to eating here again.
