Good selection of beers on tap and bottle. Recommend the Ruben and onion rings and the soup and half sandwich meals. Amber our waitress was excellent.

Friends told us this restaurant was great, and how right they were! We had the onion rings as our appetizer. They were huge, not too heavily breaded and the onion was sweet. My husband had the loaded potato soup and Caesar salad with chicken. The chicken was crispy and tender and the soup was the best. I had the Rueben sandwich with sweet potato fries served with caramel dipping sauce. All our food was delicious, and the portions were so large we both brought food home … we also ordered the bread pudding with whiskey sauce to bring home to share and it was delish as well.

Our first visit but not our last. We're from N.C. about 90 minutes away but well worth our trip including the shops. Great recommendation from the Smithfield Museum for Wharf Hill. My wife and I enjoyed everything about it. Great atmosphere, great food on service. We highly recommend the brew pub and restaurant

Best fried green tomatoes I've ever had. I don't care for the dipping sauce they serve with them but I don't like smokey flavors. Large portions. Always run in to someone we know.

Stopped by to grab a quick drink. Did not try any food but did check out the menu and will come back to eat some of the delicious food items that they had listed. ! Sat at the bar and the bartender was helpful with helping my husband pick out a beer. She gave him two different samples and he found a beer to drink. It was later afternoon on a Saturday but the bar area was busy but it seemed like everyone was being taken care of and the food that came out looked yummy. It's a cool bar area with lots of wooden accents and just a downhome feel.

First time ever eating here was about a year ago!! The food was amazing!! Small space but comfortable! Will definitely return! I had the halibut plate. Friendly waitress!
The tuna bites are spectacular. I haven't had a beer I didn't like here. Good friendly atmosphere.

After experiencing the local Smithfield restaurant (2x) and being underwhelmed, we decided to make a 10 minute walk to Wharf Hill Brewing. Aside from a wobbly table and an IPA being more of a PA, the service and food were top notch. Our appetizers were more of a main course, and the main course was delicious. Our wait staff was incredibly attentive, and we thoroughly enjoyed our visit. They treat every guest as a normal patron as opposed to the regular 'bigwigs' that frequent the other space.Would recommend.
