After a long ride, my friend and I wanted to stop somewhere for a quick bite--sushi was calling to us. We found 54 Restaurant popup on numerous website searches and figured that it was the GO-TO spot. Incorrect. Miso soup had no taste. Spicy edamame was incredibly soggy and the seasoning was cakey. Sushi rolls were slimy and smelled "off," they appeared to be sitting out or maybe next to something hot since they were NOT cold and crisp. They also lacked taste and overall mouthfeel. Crispy veggie rolls also had no taste. Service was as if we were at a dive bar. Due to the overall lack in taste, we ended up taking COVID-19 tests when we got home to make sure it wasn't us--nope! The food may not be 5 stars; however, their establishment is popping--perfect décor, amazing planogram setup for easy access and a super cute outside area. On a really nice day, after shopping, I could see myself coming here to grab a drink during happy hour.

54's great and I'm definitely not the only one who thinks that. We ordered the bulgogi waffle fries as an appetizer. This dish is huge, easily feeds four people as an appetizer. It could be its own meal if someone wanted. The fries were great, lots of flavor. I ordered the salmon poke salad as my meal. I little disappointed in the fact that by the bottom, I felt like I was just eating mouthfuls of iceberg lettuce. I will say, I was pleasantly surprised by the large cuts of salmon. I recommend this restaurant.

I love the ambiance and the happy hour specials BUT the food is never worth it. I ordered the fried rice ramen and egg shells were in my food. Sorry I don't like crunchy fried rice. The service was bad. The waiter disappeared which I would have excused but he returned asking if we were still there! Then to make matters worse when we went to split the check, he put everything on one card. I guess it's time to find a new spot. I went back despite the hair in my food and it doesn't get any better!

Everything was wonderful. I really liked the bar. It was big with lots of space and elbow room. Wasn't tight and cramped. A few TV monitors for watching the games. A decent selections of beers and libations.

In town for a volleyball tournament and we were near the mall and menu looked good. Table of 4, seated quickly on a Friday night. Sushi was amazing, bibimbap bowl was HUGE, bulgogi meat was super tasty! Friends with us got dumplings, edamame, sushi and soup... it was all well presented and cooked. Service was good as well. We had a very friendly and helpful server since it was our first time here. He gave some menu suggestions before we ordered. Great place to stop if at this mall and craving something Asian.

I went here for a birthday celebration with my friends. The food was really good and so is the service. I definitely return soon for a second round. I would recommend this to all my friends for sure.

Second attempt to Dine In and the service is horrible if you’re a person of color. Just left this restaurant and every family received top notch service except my family. I had a party of 3 while every other party was twice the size. I sat for 10 minutes before calling the waiter/ host over to take our drink orders. 15 minutes later I walked to the bar to place my order bc the waiter never returned. I finally see the waiter, I ask for his assistance while he’s doing nothing and he says one second. I pack my family up to leave and he says, ok see you later. Not a shred of decent customer service in his body when dealing with women or people of color. I have no idea what his issue is. I don’t even know if the food is good. But the service sucks and I wouldn’t recommend them to a dog fight, EVEN if they were the defending champs!
