The food court does not have French fries anymore. Been a while but wanted to update in case some go there looking for them at the food court. Still have the great pizza and no gas station at this costco.

Review for Costco Newington #227Our large family had been great client for Costco in Fairfax and anywhere when we traveled. Our regular Costco is this one in Newington #227 Springfield. We had been treated so badly from the register REINA R a few times and we always tried to avoid her but today unfortunately, we didn't notice her until we got closer to her register. She must be a racist, she yelled at us as she thought we don't understand English when we told her the item she was about to ring up wasn't ours and she rolled her eyes. The attitude continued when she realized that my sister who visited me wasn't a member (but I am a long time member), she yanked the credit card from my sister's hand and yelled again at us instead of just explaining nicely that it must be me who is the member to pay for my sister's purchase. We walked out of this Costco in shock for having such sad experience here, how could Costco keeps this bad representative for long time and never resend her for training for customer services. We will shop Costco Fairfax and will NEVER come back this location ever again.

BLUF: poor customer treatment, poor quality furnitureThis comment is about customer service at the warehouse and the quality of some furniture bought there. We purchased a "leather" sofa set from the warehouse. Relatively quickly it started to fall apart. The "leather" flaked off, even on parts that didn't get sat on or touched. On those parts that touched each other, the "leather" wore right off. So we went to return it.- First, the people at the customer service desk laughed at my wife. Right off the bat, total BS treatment.- Then they said "that wasn't real leather, if it was real leather it would have said Grain Leather, not Leather." How the heck could we know that?- They told us we could have known more from reading the box. Well, it wasn't in a box when we bought it. And even then, would the box have said "not real leather, fake stuff?"- Then they said "look at the price. you had to know it wasn't real leather." Really? Costco touts it's great deals, and how they have all this buying power to get good deals. They made us haul our own couch to the car and home to save on overhead costs. Heck yea, if you say you give good deals, we figured we got a good deal.- Then they said even real leather wears out. Sure it does. I have a sofa that is near 20 years old made of leather, and it's kinda worn. But that's 20 years. I've seen leather furniture in medieval castles still holding up.The warehouse manager then told us no return, as it's normal wear and tear. Again, even though the places it was flaking apart are literally not touched.Beware of what you are buying there. Poor treatment all around. It's one thing to deny a return, it's another to belittle a customer for asking.

Costco is one of the best warehouses to shop. I would recommend anyone to visit Costco if they have a large family or planning an event. you cannot beat the prices there.

Husband watched son to give me a break to run the errands. Went to Costco to get some basics for son and noticed some pumpkin seeds we got a week ago were on sale. Went to get a price adjustment for the $2.50 since I was there but the lady refused to give it to me bc I'm not my husband, not on his account. The purchase was made on his account, didn't know it was so strict for a price adjustment , just seems like a money hungry company.

Another sad trip! Tell your cashiers it's not wise to give dirty looks to customers not once but twice! I remember when. Is timer Service was important to the Costco brand at one time! Getting ready just to spend full price for stuff at the grocery store. At least they are half friendly there. Tell Reina to go home if she doesn't want to be at work! You get me would've gave her a good smack in the head with a bag of walnuts. All did was ask that my items be placed in the boxes. Unbelievable!!!!

The Springfield Costco can be bustling at peak hours! They offer appliances, auto/tires, items for babies and kids, clothing, handbags, computers/printers, electronics, furniture, hardware, health and beauty products, home/decor items, jewelry/watches, office products, patio/outdoor items, items for pets, and travel/luggage items.Check-out lines can be backed up, but the employees try to work as efficiently as possible by directing the lines to self-checkouts and to cashiers. Just note that if you are at a self-checkout, if you run into any issues with scanning or looking up an item, it can take a while for assistance. The 'food court' dining-in area can be monitored more in terms of wiping down the tables/seats.Plenty of parking, but be cautious of the pedestrians, sharp turns, and runaway carts!+wait time for assistance at self-checkouts+messy food court area+tight parking

I enjoy coming to this Costco location. I wish this one also offered gasoline, but it seems like only about half of the Costco 's l go to do. Anyway, this store is set up nicely and always appears crowded from the parking lot but isn't too bad once you get inside. I also like how they've adopted a self checkout option. That line moves super quick!

I find it annoying that the self check out they refuse to let you use the hand scanner like other places. Employees in that area are also annoyingly lazy to use the hand scanner. It's a time suck.

Love Costco hotdogs and pizza! They now have kiosks off to the side, where you MUST place your order. You can only order in person if paying with cash. The problem I keep encountering, is that everyone crowds the order window asking if their order is ready. It would help if there was a screen displaying the "ready" orders... so people knew when to pick up their stuff. That's the only reason I didn't give a 5 star rating.

Always a great shopping experience! Friendly and helpful staff, clean, well stocked with quality food and merchandise! Great chain store pizza and salad! Kids enjoy their hot dogs and churros! I appreciate their low gas prices!!!
