Georgetown is known for its cupcakes, and I would like to know why!We visited on a sunny Sunday afternoon. We found the the line extending outside the store but it moved quickly. We used the time to visit its website for pictures and to make a decision (we would find later the staff was lacking warmth!)We ordered Strawberry and Vanilla Satin. While the strawberry was touted to be top seller, we found it was way too sweet. We shaved off the frosting and found a deliciously moist cupcake with a fragrant strawberry taste. Vanilla satin topped with dark chocolate proved to be a perfect pairing.Adequate seating in the cafe with one restroom at the back. Good for afternoon break while exploring Georgetown!Also bought home the granola which has a subtle hint of coconut. It was yummy but the hefty price tag $17.50 will mean not a second purchase…“

The range of options was impressive, and now I know exactly where to go when the munchies strike. Highly recommended!“

“Been here several times and the cakes are delicious. The location itself is small and usually crowded inside. The shopping center it’s in is difficult to get into and the parking is a nightmare. The cakes make it worth it though. We have tried white chocolate raspberry, lemon, strawberries and cream, and carrot. All were amazing and make great birthday cakes. We get the 10 inch cake which feeds about 8 people or 4 if you want two pieces. Overall I highly recommend.“
“I recently tried Nothing Bundt Cakes for the first time and absolutely loved it! I got the strawberries and cream flavor bundt cake it was phenomenal . My favorite part was how moist the cake was. The cream cheese frosting was also delicious. There's a big shopping center parking lot in front of the store. There was also no line when I went and the service was friendly and efficient. I just picked a cake a the cashier rang me up.Compared to other popular options like Georgetown Cupcakes, Nothing Bundt Cakes literally takes the cake! I will be back to try other flavors!“

“Lavender Moon has been my go-to spot for cupcakes since 2013. There’s something about their cupcakes that are so different that it makes you want to keep returning. Maybe it’s the texture of the cupcake or maybe the unique flavors they offer, but one thing I do know for sure is that they use very good ingredients. You can literally taste the difference.They have a few staple flavors like vanilla bean with lemon curd that you can never go wrong with. However, I always try something unique like pistachio cherry or chocolate bourbon. Sure, I like some flavors better than other but I’ve never had a cupcake I could complain about from them.I would consider this place a boutique cupcake place since their flavors as well their interior design is unique and quite whimsical. The staff are nice but I think they may be nicer to regulars than new customers from my observation and input from my friends when they pick up an order for me. It’s a small place so I wouldn’t suggest bringing a large group here unless it is for take-out.Cupcakes are a priced fairly but definitely way more expensive than the ones you buy premade at the grocery store… but you’re paying for high quality ingredients and the taste is 100 times better. I can’t ever complain about their prices because it is simply worth it.Dietary restrictions: They also have gluten-free cupcakes.Parking: Parking can be a bit tricky if you’re looking for something for free- but it’s Old Town Alexandria so it’s to be expected.Kid-friendliness: I’ve seen parents bring their kids here for cupcakes and it’s always so cute to see their faces light up when they see that they have so many flavors to choose from.“

The Manager Kirubel was so kind/happy to help/nice he helped me so much over the phone and in person . The Reese Cup Bundlet was sold out completely EVERYWHERE!! but here!! they had some left!! (I'm telling you it's a Food God somewhere in heaven too that really looked out !!). I'm so grateful because he said he could hold them which ppl usually don't/cant so I appreciate the extra mile!!.. I got the Reese Cup limited Time Bundlet I ordered yesterday last day the 25th!! I picked it up then!!!! Drumroll This Location ONLY is running a special buy one Bundlet get one FREE!! of the Reese Cup ones!! I should've got two but My Mom has been my saving grace besides god himself so I got her carrot cake!!...the Reese Cup Bundlet was sooo Good!! so within the next few days I'll be here ...but I'd definitely recommend this location it's more welcoming, it's highly colorful Ambiance set up and the display case is beautifully designed and presented with The cakes & New Cookies & Cream Flavor! “It’s so great to have an entire bakery dedicated to being Vegan. They have a good selection of cookies, cupcakes, cakes, brownies, pies and ice cream cookies and coffee. We had a cupcake and slice of cake and an iced coffee. The cupcake was delicious and moist one of my favorites I’ve ever had, the cake was dense and super sweet I would say it’s overly sweet as you cannot finish it. The iced coffee was also way!!! To sweet! Couldn’t taste the coffee flavor. The space is smaller connected to several other food places.“
“My son requested a cake from Nothing Bundt Cakes for his birthday. He wanted the snickerdoodle flavor with a drizzle of frosting. I thought it was delicious. The cake was moist, not too sweet, and melt in your mouth flavor. We picked the 8 ounce size and it was the perfect amount. We had a lot of leftovers to take home. Service was great. I ordered 48 hours in advance and it was waiting for me, when I arrived. The birthday decorations were lovely. The store is clean and well organized. I loved the way it was decorated. Each little display centered around a holiday,?wedding, or birthday. Everyone was exceptionally nice and helpful. I won't hesitate to return and get more cakes. Thank you, Nothing Bundt Cakes.“

Creamy and luxurious without being dense, heavy, or tacky. No frost or big ice crystals in the body of the ice cream, making it super smooth.There's enough varieties without everything tasting like chocolate, cake, or berry forward like your mainstream ice cream shops.I got the halvah, cardamom almond, and Fred & ginger (peach, brandy, & ginger). The cardamom almond is my favorite from the scoops I've tried out. I also bought mud pie pint to take home.“

Watergate pastry was super easy to communicate with, their pricing was fair ($50).On pick up day everything was easy, and the employee at the shop was so kind.I’m personally not even a fan of rum cake (it’s his favorite) but we both ended up loving the cake!!! It was creamy, flavorful, flaky, and the perfect amount of sweet!10/10 recommend watergate pastry! And it’s fun to walk around the old historic building while you’re in the area :)Parking: Parking was ok, I was lucky and found a metered spot right outside, it cost a quarter.I’m not super parking savvy, so there probably were even better/ more abundant options than I realized.“

Outstanding customer service and absolutely delicious mini cupcakes…among other yummy treats that I bought for myself. I ordered two dozen each of the chocolate, lemon and vanilla. They were all gone within minutes! We are a Matthew 25 church and one way we can help is to support businesses like Out of the Bubble.
