I went this past weekend and the food was ok. I had collard greens that had no seasoning. The chicken was seasoned very well the mac and cheese was ok. I had fried green tomatoes that didn't tasted very good. Would I give this restaurant another try maybe.

This is just a temporary review until I get home and really have time to say what’s on my mind. The service was fantastic soon as me and my family walked in the door. We were Greeted with a big smile and positive attitude. We had a party of 20 people that was supposed to show up for dinner. Only a few of us showed up. I was sad that the rest of the family did not show up, once I ordered my sweet tea that changed my whole night. The tea was amazing nice and cold And sweet to perfection. Our waitress ( Sydni) Was fantastic. She really worked her tail off to serve my family. The hospitality Of this restaurant was fantastic. Our waitress made sure we had plenty of refills. I ordered the lemon pepper wings. They were fried to perfection. I ordered the pecan rub full rack of ribs which I would highly recommend my food was amazing. I’m ready to return again, but I have to control my weight lol. My wife ordered dessert Im not a big dessert person, but when I Taste that bourbon bread pudding OMG it was so delicious. I caught the Holy Ghost on my taste buds! I will definitely return and I highly recommend this restaurant to everyone. You will not be sorry the food was worth every penny. I spent out my pocket.

Customer service was trash. The food was great but the waitress was told we needed hit sauce and our deserts she forgot. My son and I mentioned again no desert we ordered then it wasn't on the bill. Some other woman slid my food on the table with an attitude. Some other worker had bad vibes also and I'm spending my money $150 plus tip to be exact. I say to the management to get your customer service and appreciation of customers together. I don't care about how good your food is I will not return and haven't. Might not go back. Also kind of pricey for flop service.

I went 2 days in a row. Had the lunch special, a wing and whiting fried, and then returned for Jazz night and enjoyed a lovely stuffed shrimp with crabmeat dinner. My wife had stuffed salmon with crabmeat. We also enjoyed their boom boom mushrooms and their boom boom cauliflower. The food presentations are excellent. You do have to add your seasoning to taste. Overall, it was a wonderful experience.

The host at the front door sat me in the back of the restaurant because I didn’t have a reservation but the customer in front of me didn’t have a reservation either. The host knew the customer and said to me she is a regular. What does that supposed to mean? Regulars without reservations get special treatment but for someone like myself being a first time customer doesn’t . I will not be going back with that kind of treatment and spend my coins elsewhere. On a positive note, my waitress was nice.

Miss Katrena hit a home run today! I was bringing a 14 person party at lunch time and the young lady I spoke with was not very encouraging and rather dry. Miss Katrena's excellent customer service saved the day. They were prepared, the service was fast our waitress, lovely and the food, incredible. I've never seen so many happy, clean plates. Della Js is a beautiful cultural experience and great service makes you want to come again and again.
