Oh what a waste of money! $36 for 6 tacos that tasted like soggy nothing. They up charge the tasteless vegan fake meat mix $1.30 per taco : what happened to the tasty past tofu filling from years ago? Staff not pleasant ; ordering process confusing (sorry I hate ordering off dirty touch screen kiosks I want to order from a human). Asked for guacamole on my tacos and said I pay extra: they charged another $5 for a container of guacamole that was not put on the tacos! Tacos were completely adhered to the paper wrappers and completely soggy. Never again. Save your money and go anywhere else!

Disapointing, bland food, pricy, slowish service even when it was virtually empty, chipotle so much better

Tacos are alright but that's because I'm from California and nothing comes close to tacos from there. Service was ok I guess. It's the loud music that drove me away. Volume was way too loud. I left with a head ache. Def won't be back. I can make better tacos at home! Thanks anyway!

First time I went here the food was bad and I regretted buying. Went again with my girlfriend and it's was still just as bad. Food isn't properly portioned, it's cold, just tastes weird and overpriced for how much you get.

We got a breakfast burrito with bacon and chorizo, a breakfast taco with carne asada and pollo asada and a churro. The only descent part of the food was the chorizo and tortilla of the burrito. Everything else lacked quality: the rice was soggy, the chicken was dry, the steak was grey and dry, corn was deflated and dry and the churro had a stale old grease flavor.

Ordered the shredded chicken bowl and 3 fish tacos with sour cream, cheese, and black beans....we rated the chicken bowl a 5 out of 10...the fish tacos a 2 or 3....more lettuce and tomato than chicken in the chicken bowl....not enough fish in the fish tacos...more sour cream and black beans than fish.... all very average and not very tasty....actually ordered italian via uber eats after the DT meal...will likely not order District Tacos again...very substandard.

District Taco is new to me. I did read reviews before I checked it out and decided I needed to check the place out for myself. This particular location was pretty empty on a Sunday afternoon. There is plenty of parking as it is located in a shopping plaza. When you enter the restaurant there is plenty of seating with a few high top tables. You can place your order at one of the self serve kiosks. I ordered the three tacos where you can choose your own protein. The chicken and chorizo were normal price but there is an up charge for the steak. Overall, the tacos were pretty good. The steak tasted the best. The chips and quacamole were also good. Overall I thought it was good. I just don't know if I would go back to try the other menu items.

Man, we really want to like DT but at every step they seem to have deliberately made their product and experience as generic and robotic as possible. First, you order at the kiosk so as to avoid any interaction with staff. The kiosk works ok I guess but the interface is clunky and tedious. We checked "eat in" but our order, like every other, was packed to-go, with everything double-wrapped and in a big paper bag that we just threw away after walking 5 feet to our table. Even the soda machine is one of the touch-screen "we have every soda in the world" deals, which I know exist elsewhere but it makes the experience of just getting a cup of water into a computer operation. The food is -fine-. But it lacks any sense of character. The original location had a fun salsa and fixings bar that I guess has been gone since Covid, but even at Chipotle they have some hot sauces around that you can add to your meal. "Generic" is what came to mind most when eating. If you changed some signage and squinted just a little you could convince yourself that you were eating at a Chipotle.I have no beef with Chipotle, but they have this market covered, at a somewhat lower price point. So what is DT doing that would compel me to come here instead? At Chipotle you at least get to interact with a person as they build your order - DT felt like something almost dystopian with how little human interaction you get. Everything seems to have been designed to minimize labor costs and any possible sense of humanity. We won't be back here most likely, which is a damn shame. We would much rather support a local company over a national chain, but there's just not much to recommend it right now.

Called the restaurant to complain about a problem with a food delivery order. Rosa was rude and hung up the phone on me. I cannot support this business.

Do not eat here. Picked something up about two hours ago and I have such bad indigestion. I fell like throwing up. Not good.

They screwed up my order and the food was not super flavorful. Disappointing.

I ordered three fish tacos, jefe's way, on the web, which told me my order would be ready in 10 minutes. As I live 15 minutes away from the store, the order was ready for me when I got there. I took the tacos with me and ate at home. The tacos were very tasty and still warm. The store itself is rather nondescript and very brightly lit, as others have noted. I arrived shortly after 6:00PM, so there were very few people eating in. It did appear as if there were many carryout orders ready to go.
