Love it! We went here because we were waiting for our car at Costco. It was a lucky try! Plenty of available tables. We were given chips and salsa which were amazing! I would say, food is less expensive than other Mexican restaurants, with the same serving size!

This place is amazing! the customer service is nothing but exceptional. We always visit as a family and as a couple because we get treated as family, I cannot say anything but great things about all the employees here. Elmer is amazing, always so attentive as everyone else . We will keep coming back, as this is our home away from home place. We love everything on the menu from margaritas to their wings and their fried fish. To die for! Gosh it’s amazing, will recommend any day, any time.Parking: Plenty of parking

The best Tex Max in the area. In addition to a broad food menu they have a solid bar menu. The outdoor seating during summer is well shaded and one of my favorite Places to eat in Springfield.

Good meal, entrée had good taste.(not spice or seasoned enough for my taste) the table standard salsa was delicious as well as the guacamole. My wife was a fan of the Sangria.. Dinner for 2 with one drink and guacamole $50

Dos amigos has one of the best tres leches in the DMV. They have amazing margaritas both frozen and regular. The food was great and the menu has a lot of variety. Our server Katy was also very attentive, helpful, and nice!

One of my favorite lunch spots! Lunch specials are very reasonably priced for the quantity and quality of food! Chips and salsa are on the house too. There's a very nice server there named Katy. She's extremely efficient and wonderful to see during a lunch break!

This past weekend I had dinner with out of town friends at Dos Amigos. We were a party of 6 and I had made a reservation. We were immediately seated at a table were we able the easily chat with each other. Our server took drink orders and brought chips and salsa while we perused the menu. We ordered a wide variety of dishes and everything was delicious. I highly recommend dinner at Dos Amigos!!

The food, staff, ambience, and cleanliness were fantastic. Everyone enjoyed their food; I had the whole fried fish and it was cooked to perfection. Even the beans and rice were well seasoned and delicious. Despite being a Tex-Mex restaurant, it feels more authentic than most solely Mexican restaurants.

My first visit to this well recommended restaurant. Our nachos basket arrived fresh, hot & crispy, their homemade flavor complimented the perfectly seasoned and spice-balanced salsa. Great beginning. My quesadillas exceeded expectations. Listed as an appetizer, but the ample portion served perfectly as my lunch. The tortillas were served at the perfect temperature, crispy thin and enclosed a tasty and generous blend of cheeses and well seasoned ground beef filling. Along side was a heaping amount of excellently blended guacamole, a delicious pico de gallo, and well chilled sour cream. I ordered a Coca-Cola, which came as a fountain beverage. Instead of the off-taste and improperly brixed drink I too often receive elsewhere, it, like the entire meal, was served at its best. My companion diner had a Combination Plate and was equally enthusiastic as to its quality, quantity and taste appeal. This is a restaurant well worth the trip, staffed with motivated servers and and a kitchen that excels at delivering the "fine" Tex-Mex cuisine it advertises.

Perhaps I'm a bit biased since I used to live in Texas and I have relatives scattered all throughout SoCal, but I found the Mexican cuisine at Dos Amigos to be just "okay." Located across the street from my neighborhood COSTCO, I finally stopped in with some other California transplants (formerly of Irvine) and we were all excited to check this place out. But before I get to the food, I do admire the décor and the layout of the restaurant. I appreciate the spacious outdoor patio space, of which there were many folks taking advantage of during the unusually warm temps this past October. And the interior dining room itself is HUGE. It doesn't seem very large upon walking in, but it wraps around to a lower level so the place can accommodate larger parties. The only thing negative I'll mention is that partly due to the choice of flooring (some type of composite tile material), if there are lots of patrons there will be an echo effect which can make conversation challenging. Complimentary chips and salsa were good. You can discern that the chips are made and freshly prepared in-house since they have that nice golden color with a snappy crunch. Salsa was a bit bland for my palate, and taste like jarred salsa with some chopped tomatoes and onions to add a freshness element. I ordered the pork carnitas fajitas and they were fine. Nothing outstanding, but not necessarily disappointing either. Chunks of pork were marinated and stewed before being tossed onto a hot plate and served tableside with the usual tortillas, beans, rice, guac, etc. The only exceptions I take are the only real flavor profile I could make out were salt and a hint of paprika and pepper. Portion sizes were decent and I was able to leave with leftovers which was my lunch the next day. My dining companions got platters of chili rellenos and enchiladas, and were satisfied, but not "wowed" by their meals. For NoVA, Dos Amigos is a solid, albeit mostly pedestrian choice when it comes to Mexican cuisine. Dinner for three adults with drinks (beers and margaritas), entrees, tax and tip, came out to approximately $34/person.

This is another one of our favorites. We are big California Mexican food fans and this is about as good as it gets here in VA. We love the happy hour specials like the Birria tacos. We are here at least twice a month.

Great tasting fajitas and tacos. Has an outdoor patio area. Located near office parks. Service was prompt.
