First off, Dave the owner and his beautiful wife are AMAZING people‼ They always treat my husband and myself like family.Now, for the food. My favorite on the menu is the Jamaican Jerk Ribs (served on weekends only), Collard Greens and Mac & Cheese. The flavor is sooooo delicious and reminds me of true, authentic Jamaican food (because it is). The meat falls off the bone...it's just that good and flavorful.The other dish I like is the Oxtail. OMGosh‼ The flavor makes my mouth explode with deliciousness‼ The food is not only good, but it's consistent each and every time we eat there. That's the big difference between Jammin Island BBQ and other restaurants...consistency!If you want some good, authentic Jamaican food, I highly recommend Jammin Island BBQ‼‼Thanks for the AWESOME food Dave‼
Definitely a good option for a quick Caribbean bite. Located in the mall (so take that with a grain of salt) but it’s cool. Not really a ton of Jamaican cuisine options around but this was cool. The beef patty was the best thing.
Every single time I come to Springfield mall, I make sure to stop by Jammin Island BBQ. This place is hands down some of the best Caribbean food I’ve had & to find it in a food court. Definitely a hidden gem. They have never disappointed me. The food is always amazing quality and extremely flavorful. The portions are great as well!
Oxtail definitely authentic with the pimento and the gravy to match. #DeliciousSides were also delicious. Keep it up.

Randomly was at the mall and we hadn’t eaten all day so decided to try the food court. I was SHOCKED by how good this was. I have told so many people about this spot. I live in DC but I plan to stop here when visiting my parents. It’s fantastic, give it a try.
