First time coming here. Went with option B plus the all you can drink beer. Place over delivered!! Quality of meat was amazing. Thought maybe the LA Kalbi would've been super thin and lower quality to what Meat Project has done since they opened, but nope. High quality and perfect thickness to the ribs. The beer choices for the bottomless super exceeded my expectations. Included all drafts and some bottles Korean beer. Side dishes were amazing and so was the soybean paste stew. The only downside is I wish the soups were also ayce bc I would've gotten another soybean soup it was that good.

It’s hands down our favorite K-BBQ spot in the NCR. Wear loose fitting clothes, and an appetite ?

WE WON’T COME BACK TO SUFFER FROM THIS KIND OF “SERVICE”. The service made us unhappy and lost appetite at all. The waitress seemed short of training and the restaurant served food in random amounts. It felt like the waitress was unhappy about us asking for next round of food. The check can only be split into two.The waitress was unhappy for unknown reason. She didn’t respond actively, and we have to call they again and again. Sometimes she showed up to help us cut the meat, then sometimes not. It wasted our time but also hers. I don’t understand why she didn’t want to make everyone happy and get more tips. The amount of food is random. We called two servings of beef brisket, and it turned out to be less than the one serving we asked last round.

Food itself was awesome. All you can eat has variety of meat that I can choose from, also includes complementary rice, ramen, and several side dishes so I’m super happy with that. If it gets busy, the service tends to get a little bit slower. However, with the food quality and taste, I’d visit again.

We have eaten a number of Korean BBQ in the DMV and all were quite similar. This establishment is a definite outlier. The quality of the cut is subpar and quite a chew. I hope they improve ⁹

(Delayed review)If you don't know much about authentic Korean cuisine and flavors, then you might enjoy this AYCE experience. But as a Korean after the one visit, I was so disappointed that this is what "Korean BBQ" has come to in this area. We opted for individual servings of a pork and beef dish. The marinade was very americanized, and the cuts of meat were awful. We had to make a complaint because half of the serving was all fat. The side salt&pepper sesame oil dip was also stale. The pork marinade just seemed old too and there just was way too much pepper.None of the flavors reminded us anything of Korean BBQ. This was an attempt to mimic Korean BBQ at best. We also ordered the dwenjangjjigae (soy bean paste soup) and were sorely disppointed. It didn't taste anything close to what it should taste like. It tasted watered down and you could see the oil pools on the surface (not normal for this soup). This was closer to the soft tofu soups (which is nothing like soy bean paste soup). If you are Korean or have experienced true Korean BBQ, this place is not it. The service was all over the place as well. Because of the high backs on the booth it was difficult to get the attention of any of the servers. Our server didn't come to take our order for quite some time. A table that sat much after us got served before we did. The interior looks nice on the surface, but definitely feels poorly constructed and the seats are not too comfortable.

Never trust the star ratings on Google. If you say “All you can eat,” it’s worth a visit. $40 per person isn't bad, but the combo menu is the worst. They give you the same meat as the one in All you can, but the price is a premium. In New Jersey and New York, you can get really high-quality meat for a combo menu priced in the $100 range. However, the prices here are the same as in New Jersey, but the meat quality is very poor. The menu I ordered was Medium Combo. I ordered three pork ribs and a sirloin, and the sirloin was the lowest quality meat that would be used to make cheap tacos in rural Mexico. First of all, the pork ribs seem to be from the neck sirloin, not the ribs, and they are so salty and sweet that it looks like they just gave the meat served at All you can eat. The atmosphere was young, so it was nice. Oh, one thing that surprised me was that soju was $18. The price of soju has never gone up, so why is soju priced at $18 here? It is said that among Koreatowns in the US, LA and New York have the highest prices. There is no place in LA or New York where soju is $18, so I wonder what kind of guts they have here to charge $18. One good thing about this store is that all the workers are young and friendly.

Had unplanned korean bbq in this place. We always see this whenever in the area but we only tried once. We chose the Option B and I also highly suggest it. The meat looks of good quality. We initially opted for the additional +$10 bottomless beer and wine but we wanted soju bombs. It was nice for our server to suggest not to get the bottomless since it would be cheaper for us. My bf loved the pasta salad too. Plenty of parking but during busy times it could be hectic.

Went with some friends it's an all you can eat spot so you can't expect the aesthetic's to look good. Mostly we ordered chadol (brisket) which is standard. If they mess this up it's just time to close the restaurant for a kbbq. One thing I did like about the restaurant is that they have a all you can drink option for beers for 10 dollars which is not a bad deal, only catch is everyone in your table has to participate in the program. Side dishes were standard makchang unfortunately had a real Gamey taste and I am a huge fan of makchang so what I looked forward to most disappointed. Server was nice she tried to do her best and meet our requirements that's where the extra star came from instead of a two. They have an all you can eat ramen machine which was probably my favorite part of my meal, which is ironic but hey what works works. I will most likely not come back to this establishment just for the fact that what we dropped on the bill we could have gone to a different kbbq spot and got premium cuts. They should seriously drop their price I get it yaw have a huge square footage and rents gotta be expensive, but for that price point restaurants gonna stay empty.

So excited about this spot opening in Springfield. Very reasonably priced for all you can eat. Loved the selection of meats and seafood. The soups were extremely tasty. Fun interactive food experience ?

Makchang Dodook is the best Korean bbq place in all of Virginia, their meats are all high quality, and the service is super good, my server Yoon cut and cooked the meat to perfection and was super friendly. Definitely will be back!

Ask for AMY to be your server!!! She was so attentive and will cut your meat into bite size portions. She made sure our meat did not get burnt. Amy was awesome! Sit at her table, you will receive the best service. I also recommend spending the $50 upgrade option. It's worth the money! The quality of meat here is also premium. You will notice the taste of quality. Everything here is delicious!! Highly recommended! Ask for Amy!
