I wish I would have taken pictures of the food, but just know it’s delicious! The staff was so friendly. I haven’t met such a friendly bunch in a while. We were supposed to eat an another place, but they were closed for an event. We all said thank goodness or we would have missed out on this place. The carnitas tacos were juicy shredded pieces of pork. The Achiote tacos weren’t dry and the flavors all were fresh. The super nachos are HUGE…like two people huge! The burrito bowl was the perfect size. Their refried beans, guac, and homemade tortillas were all delicious as well. The corn tortillas were the perfect thickness, this didn’t tear and fall apart as you ate. Their chips and homemade salsa were good and fresh too. I received a surprise pork belly taco….still drooling over it. The lady at the register ordered me one to try and it sounded like I was not going to like it, but I was WRONG. The crunchy corn nuts definitely were a yummy treat. The pork belly was perfectly cooked and not a fatty mess. I would definitely eat here again! Don’t be fooled by the small size, they serve up some big flavors!!

UPDATEDI added the 5th star because Chicano Boy reached out to me and let me know that their chips are in fact gluten free and that they recently changed the recipe of their corn tortillas to make them gluten free as well! Loved to hear this.I love Chicano Boy and come as often as I can! Everything is superb, except I do wish that their corn tortillas and chips were gluten free (as they usually are at other restaurants). This would allow me and so many other people with Celiacs and wheat allergies enjoy their menu even more. I would love to enjoy their glorious salsa and queso without having to provide my own chips. But I still love this place and keep coming back!

Great food. Great service. I recommend eating here, especially when it's nice outside. Not so much when it's cold but nonetheless. Still a great place to eat. The guacamole is pretty good.

Yummy tacos (and more) in a friendly atmosphere. Our first visit to the town and our first meal during our visit. The selection of salsas were very tasty to top our tacos. We enjoyed seasonal chicken tacos, traditional, and chicken in a citrus marinade. A choice of corn or flour tortillas - we chose corn for all, and they were so tasty! Indoor or outdoor seating. Vegetarian options also looked great (sweet potato and black bean).

Good stuff. Ready to go back. Outside of the downtown area a little bit, so it's not convenient to frequent other establishments downtown. But, the quality of the food is worth the few steps outside of immediate downtown.

Chicano Boy makes pretty good, unique tacos. I loved the chicken taco, unfortunately the Americana taco was pretty dry. The service was very fast which was nice, but the food was a bit cold for the take out (to be expected but still kind of a bummer since we had to microwave the tacos when we got home). I would love to eat at the restaurant but it was pretty packed when we went. Still, I would love to try again!Dietary restrictions: They're good about making things dairy free and can easily be gluten free by choosing corn tortillas.
