If I could give negative stars, I would. This place is horrible. If they got your order wrong, they won’t make the correct order or give a refund. What kind of place is this that doesn’t offer refunds?? Customer is always right and listen to them!!

the people here were amazing and the service was great. the service was on par and welcoming and friendly. the boba on the other hand was little to be desired. maybe you should try the kft downstairs instead.

Cashier was not friendly, food was super bland and took 15 mins to make and it was not busy.

Honestly, I don’t recommend it specially because if you get food from here and it’s not good they won’t exchange it/make new for you nor refund you. I went to buy macarons and they’re about $3/each, I bought three and one of them was good, the other two were hard to bite and they didn’t taste good or they didn’t even taste like anything at all. So I went to the person working there and they said they cannot do anything for me because I had already taken them out of the store and I just said “I understand but how was I supposed to know they were not gonna be good at all just by looking at them?” So they’re saying that even if you food is BAD they won’t help you because you already left the store. Maybe a good idea would be staying at the store and try the food in front of them so if it’s bad maybe they’ll help. So sadly if you don’t get good quality that’s the customer’s fault apparently. So I spent $6 in two cookies that were not even good, didn’t get an exchange nor refund so at the end I just asked the employee to throw them away for me because I was not gonna eat them anyways. Terrible service, so yeah I don’t recommend it because if you get bad quality that’s on you and you won’t get any type of help. Sad because I loved coming to buy macarons here but after this bad experience not anymore ??\\u200d♀️

I was really happy to find a place that sells Taiwanese popcorn chicken so close to home. It's not the cheapest but it's conveniently located in the mall and I like how they sell authentic Taiwanese drinks like Apple Sidra and Hey Song Sarasaparilla which is kind of hard to come by unless visiting Asian grocery stores. It also looks like they are expanding to offering more desserts like macaroons and bubble tea drink options besides food so that will be fun to try out.

Last time that I had this type of chicken it was at the block in Annandale, I live too far from the Block to go there often. This place opened up so I decided to give it a try. Sage to say I will return again for the chicken and other items as well.

Worst food ever. I got the chicken rice there and the chicken was like pieces of dry wood. They give that dry chicken on top of white rice with no sauce in it. Worst money I ever spent. The only thing I can say is yuck!

1.25 out of 5Be afraid of the place that caused me to re-emerge from my half-a-decade Yelp slumber.Boba-kitchen is where I have re-surfaced in the suburban utopia of data centers and strip malls . They trade in "Taiwanese style" fried chicken bowls. The sound of this instantly brings me to the heroes of H-street Northweast and Mekketo. But there was this reality: lackluster and unsatisfactory flavor with very little pleasure and only a small affection. It was mostly rice with a smattering of anemic looking fried chicken pieces. The Picture does not represent the dish - at all. It gets worse: unbelievably cheap service. After placing my order I asked for two water cups for my kids. The rude attendant barked that I need to pay $2 dollars first. That's fine - whatever. It's not about the $2 dollars - it's about not being a jerk. I'll take my business somewhere else. Too old to be dealing with bad attitudes like these...

Excited to have a place that sells Taiwanese popcorn chicken with basil! Very tasty! Food was prepared pretty quickly.

FOOD/DRINK: 2/5SERVICE: 3/5AMBIANCE: 3/5I've been hearing people on social media rant about the "Taiwanese popcorn chicken" from this place and I was in the mall, so I decided to have an early dinner. Right when I got up front, I was told that the chicken was sold out. No sign or anything. It was 6:22pm on a weekday. There was literally only one other item on the menu so we got two beef plates ($11 each). The fountain drink dispenser was out of order so I went to Chick-Fil-A to get a drink for the hubby while I waited for my mango green tea boba and food to be ready. Also, it was extra $$ for boba after it being $7??There was ONE person running the entire kiosk. My boba took 15 minutes and he made bobas that were ordered *after* mine before me. Also, it turns out the beef is made from RAW beef just in a package. No marinade or par-cooking it. After 30 minutes, we finally got our food. There was no seasoning on it and it wasn't cooked long enough to render the fat off. Griddle didn't seem to even be heated beforehand. We ate it -- it was okay but it really needed seasoning/sauce. Rice was very good and done right.-Mango Green Tea Boba - bitter, soapy aftertaste. Tea was probably over brewed. Boba was way too soft.-Beef Plate - no seasoning, but good idea...needs work.Dude was cleaning up drinks when we ordered. Closed right after we ordered (an hour early). Apparently this place is run by the people that own Panda Tea House, which is directly downstairs. Not sure why they'd open another location?*Maybe* I'll come back after a while or if there's chicken. But I probably won't. Sucks to have such bad service (maybe he was overwhelmed?) but I wish them the best.
