1 star because I'm being generous. I asked for a nojito and they brought me one with alcohol. Mind you, I don't drink and haven't had a sip of alcohol for over 3 years now. I took a long sip and realized it had alcohol. I told the waitress and she took it back. Literally 2 mins later, the bartender guy comes with another drink. He comments on how he put an extra shot of tequila in there. I did not find it funny because it is against my religion to drink. To which he continues to gaslight me saying the other drink didn't have alcohol. It DID because there was a huge different between the 2 drinks and the difference was one has alcohol. This was very culturally insensitive. Never going back again! We live in a diverse area and for you to be this oblivious of our differences disgusts me.

I’ve lived in Sterling my whole life and this is honestly the best restaurant in Sterling’s history in my opinion. The first time my wife and I went here, we had dinner for our anniversary. The shrimp risotto and steak were amazing for a great price. The bread and butter appetizer are a must. And the service is amazing; professional staff who go above and beyond to make you feel at home. My wife and I went again for dinner today to celebrate her birthday and we had another amazing experience. Great steak and pasta and the bread and butter, again, is out of this world! Best butter we’ve ever had. Local Provisions has become our favorite restaurant. We are not alone. We chatted with a few couples there who were repeat customers with nothing but glowing things to say about Local Provisions as well. Highly recommend.

this is a tough review to write because I was very excited to try this restaurant after looking at its reviews.First the service.Service was a bit iffy. Had a reservation for 6 and they sat us at a table that really was not comfortable for more than 4 adults. They asked me if the table was okay (to which I said no) and they said they had no others available. It was upsetting that they even asked.. because there were none available to switch to. We ended up just waiting and a party that walked in after us without a reservation got a larger table even though I had already asked for that table once it freed up because those patrons were wrapping up their meal. Very upsetting given that I had a reservation and they did not.Regarding the food itself:1. Hot Honey Chicken Sandwich - was looking forward to eating this but it was almost inedible due to how dry it was. Seasoning was not bad but it was severely overcooked.2. Lasagna Soup - a bit under-seasoned but texturally not bad for what it was.3. The saving grace of this meal was the truffle-parm steak fries.4. Roast Beef Sandwich - not bad but slightly one-dimensional in flavor and texture.Probably will not revisit this restaurant unless there's a menu revamp or I hear that service improves.

From appetizers, to dinner, and dessert - it was exceptional. The staff was fun, friendly, and made us feel welcome to enjoy our evening. We enjoyed a few apps, laughed and ate. There was no rush, but very attentive team members. Dinner was delicious and dessert sealed the deal. Highly recommend.
