The shop is being ran by a thug and a socially unacceptable character called MASH HASSAN, A RIDICULOUS NAME, DO NOT PAY FOR DECAYING MARKED UP GROCERIES THAT HAVE BEEN LEFT AROUND FOR TOO LONG, TAKE YOUR BUSINESS ELSEWHERE, THAT YOU'LL BE GREETED WITH DIGNITY AND RESPECT.

I had to throw away the danish that I bought here. It was old and smelled weird. I bought barbari bread but that turned out okay.

Mash Hassan has been a mainstay in northern Virginia for over 30 years at this point. He first started off as a bakery, before transitioning to a full Persian Market and bakery.I would highly recommend for anyone to visit and get some of his worldFamous barbari bread, which is one of the best tasting breads you will ever have.He also has a huge selection of international goods. Especially Persian goods and a variety of tea fromAround the world. The new location off of shepherd is extremely easy to get into and out of as well. It’s nice to get in quick, get what you need, and then be on your way.The prices are also the best in the area when compared to other international markets, as well as other Iranian businesses that have popped up over the years.

A bit small but nice Persian market only a 10 minute drive from home.

Was very excited to finally shop here but sadly their baked goods are OLD!! heads up! Spent $16.99 on variety cookies and they're all old and stale.
