We ordered Aloo Prantha, what a shame for a “Punjabi” restaurant to make something so awful. They used the left over potato that was cooked and put it in a big pizza like dough. No taste, not at all traditional. Can’t imagine how bad the rest of the food must be.

Flavor through out even the most basic part of a dish. Spice and flavor levels asked on ordering. Attention to detail is supreme. All in all a hidden gem.

The food was amazing. We went as a large group and the service was fast. One suggestion is to improve the cleanliness of the restaurant. I saw a bug crawling on the table.Food - We ordered veg snack platter, kadhai paneer, bhindi masala, bread basket. Everything was perfect. The piping hot garlic naan was delicious.

Ordered online and it was prepared timely. I asked for medium spicy biryani but they made it hot. In the past when I ordered medium it was great and actually medium and I ordered similarly this time. I am really disappointed because I ordered catering size for the entire family and we couldn't eat. But naan was fine.

Food is really tasty and refreshing! They perfectly adjust the spice level if you eat mild. I especially loved the Chicken Karahi. This is one of the best indian restaurants in the area for sure.Dietary restrictions: Food wasn’t too greasy like other Indian restaurants.

Didn’t except such good food so far from NJ or outside of the downtown of a major metropolitan city. It’s very close to downtown DC but in a suburban environment. When we asked for “very spicy” they *definitely* came through.Very nice environment and ambiance to go for a sit-down dinner but we ordered pickup. There is a nice comfortable seating area while waiting for takeout / pickup order as well.Vegetarian options: Primarily North Indian (Punjabi specifically) cuisine. This means that there’s many options for both vegetarian and vegan. We recommend the palak paneer, a curry of very fresh cheese cubes marinated in a sauce of mustard greens, spinach, chili, and spices. Serve with naan (leavened flatbread).

I had the opportunity to have the buffet here with my husband. The food is amazing and it is the best buffet I have had in the DMV area. The family that owns the place is amazing and it just reminds me home ❤️

Was on a business trip and landed here during the stop over. It was a sweet surprise to find a good Indian restaurant with authentic Punjabi flavor.Had the lunch buffet, and I liked it. Rather than focussing on overloading with too many appetizers they just have a few but have ensured they taste good. The chole tikki was one of the best.Butter chicken, goat curry were delicious too with the right amount of spices unlike other restaurants who just thrown in the hot spices.Biryani had the the authentic north indian taste which is rare to find. Gulab jamun was nice, ras malai nothing great but I am anyways not a fan of it, so was fine. The atmosphere is good and owners are very attentive and warm. Will definitely return whenever I visit VA.

Ordered samosa chaat and different potato chaat for carry out. When I got home, some of the juices had leaked into the plastic bag since it wasn't sealed properly but thankfully it was also double bagged with a paper bag and nothing leaked outside. I'm going to give this place five stars because the food was still amazing and the service was SO good and that is so important to me. As soon as I stepped into the restaurant, the person who greeted me was so kind and welcoming. He even gave me a Chai tea on the house as I waited for my food and explained the different chaats I was ordering. Just really top notch service and so kind. The food was excellent, nice spice and tasty. Would def come again, thanks so much!
