Very bad staff. Very disrespectful and very bad Afghanies. I have three Afghani room mates and they were all very best but these people working in this restaurant are very disrespectful. Maybe my room mates are from good family and their parents tough them how to respect others but these folks working in this restaurant don't know how to respect others. I am from Pakistan, and I am not Afghani. If you like Afghani food, try Grill Kaboob. They are at Dulles town center at Sterling, and they are also at Herndon and Reston, same name Grill Kaboob. Reston Kaboob is also very good. Workers at these restaurants are very respectful and very friendly. Respect is everything, if you believe. Thanks for reading and your valuable time. ?

The Persian cuisine is excellent, with a straightforward menu, quick service, and a clean, pleasant restaurant environment, all at reasonable prices.

Food is great and the service is good. They don't give you enough vegetables on the platter.

No frills restaurant for amazing kabobs! I always get every one of their proteins, chick peas, and hummus. All hits.

Really delicious and pretty economical/casual place if you want no nonsense middle eastern kebabs. Very similar to Moby Dick in terms of taste but they miiiight actually have an edge. This place may be too casual for a first date, but it's definitely not a hole in the wall. Solid 4/5

they literally made us wait an hour for our food and then said they forgot about us. They didn't say it politely either they simply just acted like it was a joke. this was a bad experience. I do not find myself coming back

Saffron Kebob in Virginia presents a culinary experience that, while satisfactory, strays from its advertised Iranian roots. The restaurant's ambiance and service create a welcoming atmosphere, and the dishes are competently prepared. However, discerning palates will notice a significant departure from authentic Iranian flavors. The spices and cooking techniques employed lean more towards Indian or Pakistani cuisine, creating a disconnect between expectation and reality. This misalignment is particularly evident in the menu, which labels dishes as Iranian but fails to deliver the unique, subtle spice blends characteristic of traditional Iranian fare. While the food is enjoyable, it's important for potential diners seeking genuine Iranian cuisine to be aware of this discrepancy.I was craving for Iranian food and searched for a restaurant close to the airport and Saffron showed up. Please either fix your menu or your food to align with the menu.

Best kabobs in northern VA. Everything is made and grilled to order. Highly recommend the Beef Kubideh. The rice is cooked perfectly and their grilled onions, peppers and tomatoes are just too good. Great vegetarian and pescatarian options too. Even my super picky three year old devoured half of a chicken kabob and a bowl of rice. That alone deserves a 5 star review. Super friendly staff and the owners are very attentive and engaged with their employees and guests. Highly recommend.
