My review is not about the food, the place or the employees, it’s about how rude and arrogant the owner was to me, and for this reason, I will never visit this place ever again. Luckily, there are several other good Vietnamese restaurants in Sterling for me to go to. If this is how he treats customers, I can only imagine how he treats his employees. This is a place five minutes walking distance from my home so I have visited here at least 30 times within the last few years. I’m a vegetarian so whenever I get the tofu bahn mi, I make sure to request that there is no pate inside of it because this has happened three times in the past. Even after I requested no pate, pate was still accidentally put in. This is fine because I understand mistakes happen, I did not mind and continue to visit the place but I make sure to request multiple times that they ensure no pate is in it. Yesterday I ordered my usual tofu sandwich and when I was picking up the food, I politely asked to confirm that there was no pate in it. The owner who was there said pate does not get put in tofu bahn mi anyway. And I said that’s not true because this has happened to me three times in the past. To which the owner responded that he comes to the restaurant every single day from morning to late, but he has never seen me there before. And he repeated this several times. He was implying that I’m lying about having pate on my food because he has not seen me there meaning I have never been there before. I had my hood on and a mask on, the only exposed part of my face were my eyes, Im not sure how he can say he has never seen me before because he can’t even see my face to know who I am. I then pulled out my credit card statement and showed him that just on one single credit card, there are about 20+ charges from Tea Break and I have more on another card and sometimes I use a family member’s card to order. I also have it delivered, and sometimes someone else will come and pick it up, I am not the only one always picking up from there. Just because he has never seen me there, that does not mean I have never been there. I even have pictures from the past on my phone of a tofu sandwich from there that had pate on it which I took to show them as proof (back then) but I did not have time for back-and-forth argument and to show him all of this. Once I showed him the credit card statement, he just brushed it off and made an excuse that he was only saying he has never seen me before. But, why would he say multiple times that he has never seen me before although he is there every every single day from morning to late as a response to me saying I have had pate on my bahn mi before? The two statements have nothing to do with one another, except for the fact that he was trying to tell me that I’m lying. I left the place incredibly shocked and appalled and this unpleasant interaction ruined my whole day. I will not be returning to a place where I am disrespected for no good reason, simply for trying to politely verify that my order is correct, because I have received incorrect orders before. I have never had the owner of any place speak to me with such a nasty attitude.Ive read other reviews and I’m not the only one the owner was rude to. Other customers have complained of the same.

I used to be a huge fan of Teabreak for its vegetarian options and bubble tea stamp card rewards. I had three completed stamp cards indicating I was eligible for three complimentary drinks. When I went to Teabreak earlier this week on Thursday, 3/28, the waiter allowed me use one of my cards to redeem a complimentary drink. When I returned later on Saturday, 3/30, I asked the waiter if I could redeem my other stamp card, and he informed me that it was possible. Upon checking out, I noticed that he charged me for the drink anyway and said my stamp card was no longer valid. There is no expiration date on the stamp card. I feel extremely misled as a customer, and I will not be returning due to inconsistent implementation of their own stamp card policy. I will be taking my business elsewhere.Vegetarian options: There is a vegetarian pho option and fruit smoothie/tea drink menu

There a lot of pho restaurants and it is very hard to discern the differences between them. It really just comes down to personal preferences when it comes to the which pho shop is the best. Teabreak has certainly become my favorite pho/noodle shop in the entire northern Virginia area - why?Well, Teabreak has 2 standout menu items I cannot find anywhere else (except Eden Center in Annandale but the traffic is just too unbearable at times). These are (a) weekend only 'Hue Style Spicy Noodle Soup' which comes with many yummy meat cuts and pork blood-cakes!! and (b) flan with coffee jelly boba. These two items are ridiculously tasty and unforgettable. Why aren't don't we have more places that add blood-cakes to noodle bowls ..... and why aren't we all adding coffee jelly as a toping to cakes, flans, meringues, and other desserts! Kudos for Teabreak for staying true to innovation and tradition.
Just tried Teabreak for the first time. My family and I have been to several Vietnamese places in Sterling, herndon, and other places in the DMV and this place is definitely at the top of our experiences. The dining area is very small but we ate late in the afternoon on a weekday so we didn’t have to wait for a table, it was pretty empty. Coffee with condensed milk 10/10, spring rolls 10/10, grilled shrimp dishes 10/10, egg rolls 10/10. All of the veggies and other ingredients were very fresh and they were generous with sauces. This will now be a top choice in our dining out rotation.

Really good food and a really great place to get it. This is the first time I've been to this location but I visit the other location in Herndon often as it is close to where I live. I anticipated it would be similar and it was and it was outstanding and just what I felt like on that night as it was cold and damp. Highly recommend this place and their location in Herndon as they are fantastic. Can't say enough about the food and the drink and the people.

Previously I ordered food, and it took 40mins but I understood since the restaurant was busy. So yesterday, I ordered food 40mins ahead, and food wasn't still ready. They said 5 more mins every 5 mins for 3 times, and then the owner asked the worker if I just ordered now, and he said yes, so I said I ordered 45 mins ago, and the owner's like "I can refund you". As a business owner, I can't understand how he could not apologize for inconvenience in the first place. On top of that, he said it took long because my order was complicated. My order was summer roll with no noodles. How could this be complicated when you just don't put noodles before rolling them? The most rudest human being ever in 11 different States and 3 different countries I have visited so far.
