Totally ran across this place accidentally while heading down the mountain from a weekend in Floyd and was so pleasantly surprised by this wonderful winery. The owners are just about the kindest people you will ever meet, willing to share all sorts of stories about their wines and the area, and their wines will leave you wanting to stay all day chewing the fat with them. This isn't a bad drive from our house, so I would probably be interested in heading back when they finish remodeling...read full review
We visited the winery while staying at Fairystone State Park. It was off the beaten path and featured fantastic dry wines. My husband and I like dry and most southwest Virginia wineries focus on sweeter wines so this was a nice surprise. The tasting room is small but worth the wait if full. Definitely worth a country drive during our visit,

We had the absolute pleasure of being warmly welcomed and treated to the most enjoyable and informative wine tasting ever. Small family owned wineries are another reason to love VA. A special thanks to Nelson for his time and love of talking about wine. We will come back.
