Just when I was trying to unbig my back...this place came up on tiktok. I'm mad about it because I will be a regular and remain fat. When I went in, there were quite a few people there, but the dinners came out fast. Food is delicious! The young lady at the counter is definitely an asset because she is so sweet! She knew a few people by name. Turkey wings, mac n cheese, yams, potato salad, fried cabbage, and banana pudding cake. I am so glad Suffolk has real Soul food. No need to cook on Sunday. Love it! P.S. The banana pudding cake is so good it should be a sin.

A GRAND SLAM EVERY TIME… TURKEY LEGS A HIT… OX TAILS A HIT… CHICKEN WINGS A HIT… YAMS MAC AND CHEESE CABBAGE ANS ALL THE OTHER SIDES ARE A HIT!!!!!! EVERY-TIME!!!
Very disappointed with this place. I called to place my order for oxtails. I asked if they had oxtails prior to making my way over there and the young lady said yes. She asked if I wanted to pay over the phone. I asked if they had preference for method of payment and she said it did not matter, so I told her I would pay when I get there. I also told her it would take me about 25 min to get there so no need to rush my food. When I arrived to pick up my order she tells me they ran out of oxtails and since I did not pay over the phone they did not reserve my order. Needless to say I'll never get to try this place after they wasted my gas and they could really careless.

I am Grateful for this Black owned establishment. My mom is in a nursing home close by this location and because of your great tasting food my mom is able to eat a healthy meal via Door Dash. She always say” Everything be so good “Thank you and keep up the great work.
The atmosphere was nice customer service was everything! But the food in my opinion was not good at all! The greens was too salty and was not cooked through all the way. The wings was bland and could have cooked a little bit longer to make them tender. The mac and cheese was the worst it was bland and needed more cheese in it. seemed like it would just noodles will just a little bit of cheese in it and no seasoning. The potato salad was watery. The yams was absolutely nasty and tastes like it was bourbon in them. I couldn't put my finger on what that taste was. And then the sugar liquid Kool-Aid was the worst! If you are a diabetic DO NOT order that! It's nothing but liquid sugar! I have to put water in a whole another bottle. And then added three teaspoons ( that's how sweets it is) of the liquid sugar drink.

Horrible food I ordered chitlin plates because I haven’t had any in a while an wanted some good chitlins so i found this place and tried them. I spent amost 100$ on food yet to be so disappointed first the green beans were so salty they were in inedible second the chitlins smelled soo bad I couldn’t even eat them,my child started to throw up from just tasteing them. I don’t know what but yall dont need to be cooking at all because that does not make any sense.
