“Delightful little ice cream shop in the heart of Suffolk. We stopped after walking around Lake Mead Park. We were immediately greeted when walking in the door, the respectful addressing as "ma'am" and "sir" to me and my husband was also super refreshing, as in today's food service industry, you don't get that much anymore!! The shop doesn't hold a lot of people. 2 other families walked in at the same time we were there, but it was fine. Just noting for people who like to stay and chill. The ice cream wasn't as creamy as I had hoped, but still very nice! Would return!“
“I love this place, and they always have such great customer service.. but I was really disappointed with my first cupcake order from them. I was told one price but my card was taken over the phone and charged a different price.. I was going to let it go because it wasn’t a huge difference, but when I picked up my cupcakes today the box they put them in didn’t have place holders in them so even though I drove extra careful, there was enough room for them to roll around inside and this is what we ended up with. Feels like a waste of money when the cupcakes weren’t cheap to begin with. I’m all for “you get what you pay for” but man some placeholders for transportation should be a standard I think. I’ll still continue to support them because I do think this bakery is awesome and everyone I’ve interacted with has been really sweet.. but pleaaassseee use this review for constructive criticism lol.“
“I dont think Ive ever felt more at home and fondly dealt with than at Mama’s. I at an almost too late date ordered a red velvet cake in honor of my granddaughters start to her second year of college. Not knowing exactly what to do on this occasion, I was expertly steered to the right decisions by the wonderful staff there. To say I, and my family, and especially my granddaughter were pleased, is a great understatement. Sorry Im so late with this.“
“Yesterday I visited your Chesapeake,Va location. It was my son’s 10th birthday and he came to pick out his cake, miss Mary made him feel so special. She sing him happy birthday, took our order and hooked my baby up with a free mini lemon Bundt cake. Not only was the customer awesome the cake was amazing.
