Ordered a carnitas at 20$ a plate and it was over cooked and the sides were cactus and a chilly pepper which were tasteless. Waitress didn’t even come out to ask me how my meal was. I didn’t even eat half my steak because it was too tuff and dry. I wanted a crown and coke but they didn’t carry that whiskey. Not my type of place. You are of course nobody had an attitude the meal was bad period fix the issue. Thank you the all caps reply very respectful of you.

Im not one to post bad reviews but this place was NOT GOOD. My husband and I went for the first (and only time) for a special date night and the food was SO BAD. The salsa tasted like it was from a can, the white sauce-i dont even know-the flavor was not right. I ordered fajitas and the meat had no seasoning and was dry as a bone. Our waitress didn't really do anything-i had to ask for silverware, a drink, the check multiple times, refill on chips. The atmosphere was horrible. It was so dingy and dark and dirty and just depressing. The prices were also REALLY high. We will be sticking with Santa Fe from now on. Do not recommend.

horrible service!! do not eat here!!!!!just left after placing an order for three queen Asada tacos would ask for extra hot sauce I was told No!!! the father literally came out and yelled at me !! for a whole minute I couldn't believe it. I would never go there ever again in my life.!!!

Loved everything about this place! Family/staff, atmosphere, food, drinks. Happen to be in Suffolk and didn't want to go to a chain restaurant. Me alegré mucho de encontrar este restaurante. Even though they have a sign saying this isn't fast food, our dishes came out pretty fast. Vegetarian menu options will have me driving back to Suffolk more often.
This place is about the most authentic Mexican restaurant in Hampton roads. Reminds me of San Diego every time I visit.

I'm from San Diego and half my family lives in Tijuana. I also have family in Mexico City and Leon. I've literally spent half my childhood in Mexico. I think I would know what authentic Mexican food is. I'm sorry for the bad review, but come on guys, step it up.

It's a tiny hole in the wall type of place, BUT amazing! I do wish they had more seating, but I feel like there's actual privacy because of the booths. You don't see the person behind or in front of you. The food is great, the service is good, and it's actually MADE to order. Their alcoholic drinks are good too!!Parking: Street parking can be a hassle if it's busy but there is a parking lot nearby that's not even a block away.
