The owner of this place is such a jerk. He's always abrupt, and today is my birthday we made 2 separate orders. My gf already got hers and we were waiting on my food and my dad's when he asks why we are there, and didn't seem to believe we had placed orders. And kept watching us and speaking Spanish like he thought we were stealing orders or something. Not a good way to run a business. If this wasn't the only firehouse, ( don't really go to any downtown restaurants) we wouldn't even bother anymore.

I only come to this location because it’s the closest to me, but be aware of the owner/gentleman in charge. Brutally rude and no sense of great customer service - in fact the opposite. I asked once if I could get peppers/mushrooms on the side and he said no because he didn’t have anything to put it in. I came on here to see if anyone else mentioned this rude man, and it seems like I’m not the only one. If this is the owner, I’m surprised he’s able to run it with the caliber of service he offers.

i’ve never felt so unwelcome in a food place before. the man in charge was constantly staring at me and my friends as if he wanted us to leave. he rudely asked “what do you want” when we ordered pickup. will not be coming back here.

My catering order was not complete and I called the store multiple times asking to speak with a manager and no one has gotten back to me. Very disappointing a $400 order for my daughters birthday was missing items and have not gotten a resolution

I use to eat at Firehouse Subs on College Drive in Suffolk all the time because the service and food was always great. My Philly Steak Sub was always fresh, hot, and good. It was one of my favorite spots to eat, and now it's not. I live 3 minutes from the location on College Drive, and use delivery most of the time. Now the food is never hot, the bread is harder than it use to be, they cut the bread all the way through and everything drops out of the bottom and sides when trying to eat it. The meat isn't chopped good like it use to be, so you get chunks on the sandwich, it's never fixed as requested, and when I call the store to request something to be added on or removed from the sandwich, it's hard to understand what the person on the phone is saying, and get a reply with a seemingly attitude having to repeat themselves. I won't be eating at Firehouse Subs (College Drive Location) unless the food and service goes back to what it use to be.

My large hook and ladder was perfect. The store was clean. Bathroom clean. Drink machine? Eyyy. Show me one of those dumb machines that does work right. They stink. Not this store’s fault.Great firehouse subs plus bonus they got that whole supporting firefighters gimmick going on so you can feel good. Cops are out thanks to BLM. Firemen are the new heroes. Until you need a cop of course and then it’s WHERE ARE THEY?!? WHY AREN’T THEY COMIN?! Oh that’s right democrats defunded them and nobody wants the job because they’ve destroyed their image.

This place is awful.the order was wrong, the operator of the store is so rude and antagonistic. Refused to take responsibility. Absolutely terrible place. Called customer service they did nothing. Many better places to eat.

The cashier who took our order was already very rude when my husband was struggling to order. My husband just wanted to make sure the order was right because he doesn't like any sauces and the cashier made a big deal out of it saying he already asked him multiple questions to confirm his order. Then when when we went to go pick up the food, the food handler gave him attitude for him asking if she called our name. She said yes and then when we were walking out she said no that's not your order after confirming twice that it was. Then when we got our food, we both got stuff on our sandwiches we specifically asked we did not want.Update: cashiers name is Carlos and only refunded me my husband's sandwich because he messed up his sandwich but refused to refund my sandwich because it was my fault I didn't specifically say no cheese. Don't recommend coming here at all.

I placed my order online and was charged twice for the same order. The manager was super nice and took care of it as soon as he could when I went to pick my food up. My food was good but my order was not filled correctly. I would still recommend them but I would choose to eat in rather than take out to ensure my order was correct.

Good food but super slow service. Stay away during peak hours (lunch time along with dinner. Today I watered over 30 minutes for a meatball sub. Plus the owner is grumpy behind the cash register

I paid $14 for a medium sub bag of chips and a drink. The sub was less than 6 inches in length but had some flavor to it. But for $14 I will not be going back. I'd rather go to subway and get twice the sub at a 3rd of the cost!

Every time I order from this location they forget the sides. No soup, no chili, no brownies, no chips. This has been a 3 out of 4 times thing. There’s only so many chances I can give a chain location before I choose a different place to eat with my family.
