I frequent this place often, done in and take out, and it has been consistent for the last 10 or so years. I'm pretty simple and love a good spicy roll. They hands down have the best spicy rolls that I've tried in this area to me. All the rolls I've tried have been really good. I've only had one very small disappointment, and that was when they put ranch dressing on my salad. Now, maybe they ran out of the ginger dressing, but I do wish they had told me that way, I would have ordered the soup instead. Good costumer as well.

Kaleidoscopic Retrospect
Walked in here to have a rewarding good lunch. I order 2 rolls, and the Tako Sunamono; my tako was good just wished they gave me a few more pieces. Lunch totaled $36; However I will be returning for future lunches and dinners, ENJOY!
Food was surprisingly good. This is a small Japanese style restaurant with full menu and fresh sushi.

Iron Chef is now out go-to sushi restaurant in Suffolk. It is clearly a family-run business with the kids helping out in the dining area in the evening after doing their homework. The prices for sushi rolls and appetizers are reasonable. Don't miss the daily specials on the white board - when I've tried them, they were magnificent! Service is always friendly and attentive without being intrusive. Ambience is comfortable with about eight four-tops with one larger private table in the front that can accommodate a party of about eight.

Let me start by saying Iron Chef was one of my 2 favorite places to eat sushi. When covid hit we stopped after a couple bad experiences. Decided last night to give them another go. Ordered 6 specialty rolls off the menu. Asked for no eel on one (due to allergy). well....4 of the rolls were good and what we ordered. One had copious amounts of eel on top and one was Fried (does not state tempura or fried on menu) so basically wasted $65 worth of sushi on top of waiting almost an hour for the to go order. Hate to say it but we will likely not tempt fate again. very disappointed.

Not much to say. I thought everything was pretty good. Service was good. Food was good. Atmosphere was good. Just a little bit pricey, imo. It was by two get one sushi rolls and I ended up paying a little over $50. I would recommend.
